I’m Gen X and I find the vehicles 50s and 60s to be very desirable. Most of my Gen X friends that like cars feel the same way. I do think we are more likely to be okay with restomods that give us more modern features than some older drivers, but we’ll still take a stock classic.

This just seems like a list of the cars that are technically available for under $30k (I’m pretty sure they almost all spec out over that though)

For $35k you can get an almost new, certified Acura TLX A-Spec. Creature comforts, reasonably sporty for what it is, and about as reliable as a car can be.

Not defending the problems, but this reads like some kind of major grounding issue.

To be fair, this sounds more like some wacky CANBUS issue. Vehicles these days run EVERYTHING over their internal network.
