Lol, “Grandma’s Lipstick”. Now I’m going to think of that line every time I see a car in this or similar color. Thanks...

I know used car prices are crazy but…this is just too much. It’s one of the least desirable years of the Aero LTCs and the color is atrocious. There’s better options for $7500, even if you want a LTC. ND, should be closer to $5k.
Reluctant No Dice from me. That’s more than a couple of years worth of underbody rust; I think this rig’s time in Seattle might’ve contributed more than a bit to the cause.
Canyonero!!!!!
I don’t think the Civic platform will hysically house an AWD drive train, unless the rear is powered by electric motors.
I LOVE IT!!!
Honestly, it could probably significantly more super than the Plaid - weight and aerodynamics are really where it would shine.
Anecdotal story - they used the Datsun name outside JDM to prevent potentially putting a bad mark on the Nissan name in the event of failure.
Everything was still Nissan under the badging.
My memory may be off a few years, but I believe it was the next generation of Z cars that were labeled as Datsun (by Nissan)
there are plenty of G35 sedans and coupes within the budget. The OP can get an 06 coupe with around 100K miles for $9K
Tee are ex is correct but I call my VW an Emm Kay Eight Golf GTI
Tusken Raiders are underrepresented here.
By then it’ll all be USBC and you’ll have a pile of useless lightning cables.
I believe your chariot has arrived. According to Wikipedia, it seems it should have 4WS.
Might want to get your checkbook out then!
Consumer Reports doesn’t really give the Escape very good reviews, either.
Unless I’m mistaken, all VR-4 models had AWS for the first 4 model years. Only the fixed headlight models had non-AWS models as an option.
I’d love for a day to go by without hearing about this guy.
I think those were the stock rims, if memory serves me right.
Well those A-pillar gauges probably mean there have been some engine (or boost) modifications over time, which aren’t necessarily a horrible thing (but could be depending on how crazy they got with it), but if a compression-test checks out and spark plugs show no sign of oil (and the oil shows no sign of coolant), NP.
I’ll do you one better, Land Rover has been doing this exact thing for decades. The reason the new long Defender is called the “130" is because they’ve made a 130" wheelbase Defender since like 1986. If anything, Ford and Chevy copied Land Rover here.
