if you think you’re not paying for the hardware either way, you’re mistaken.

abbreviating tactic to tact is not a thing. you’re a generous person.

yeah, there are some brands i will never buy again, and a few that i will never consider. that’s the closest i get to loyalty. as for dealerships, even though i’ve been buying a new car every 4-5 years for 20 years now, i know that every time i go to a dealership i will never see anyone that i’ve met there ever again.

this. the tops of these vehicles are basically diffusers.

so buy from them without taking the vehicle to a mechanic, i can’t wait for the update.

Not working at a dealership in CT but to quote a friend, we normally saw Carvana offer $2-6k over KBB/MMR. They would have to sell these vehicles at MINIMUM 105-115% of market value just to break even (assuming no work was needed on these vehicles for resale). We often told our customers to sell their car directly to

ha@sentra fighter. exactly.

yah that windcatcher rear vent window bothers me more than all of the rest of it, and i hate all of the rest of it.

thank you, i wondered about that. i rented a 300 S from Hertz last month and there is no way it had 350+ hp. people give Chrysler a lot of shit for not updating their products but there wasn’t anything i’d change about that 300. it’s a very specific type of car, but it does what it does very well.

i live close enough to the place to drop by every once in a while just to look at weird and cool stuff. i would never, EVER buy from this place without having an independent mechanic go over the vehicle. that’s good advice in general but especially for this place. they don’t give two shits about condition, which is

i’ve owned 2 british convertibles, one didn’t have air conditioning and the other had weak air conditioning. both of them radiated heat like franklin stoves. driving them with the top down in chilly weather got me laughed at in TX, but it was pretty awesome once i found the right hat.

GM wanting to buy a little fire insurance.

These are not new brands. Hyundai and Kia are newer than the others, but still. they were never E-vehicle startups like Tesla or Rivian.

won’t somebody please think of the yacht-makers?

seriously though if i were only $7500 away from being able to afford a rivian i’d be sad. but i’m not so i’m not. good luck to you rivian. last i heard you’ve sold every vehicle you have the capacity to build so maybe stfu.

i have such a hard time voting on sports cars or sporty cars that don’t have the hottest engine. it doesn’t seem fair for me to automatically No Dice a car just because it’s not top trim. but if i’m going to (temporarily) own old weird shit that is likely to turn into a money pit anyway i’m going whole hog.

also, that

how slow do you think it is?

that was my question, too. shitty media just ran with the mcdonald’s angle.

if you read the piece you’ll see that it wasn’t just mcdonald’s. there was other contraband and the fine was for everything.

you have to spend over 35k on a Maverick just to get adaptive cruise control. i don’t think the type that would be interested in this package would be interested in base trim.

3. the cyclist was almost all the way past the car when he was struck, which means the cyclist crossed nearly all of the driver’s field of vision before she hit him. which means that asshole councilwoman was texting or whatever.

dumbass runs red light didn’t even look to his right. other dumbass wasn’t even looking at
