i like the orange seats and the cloth on the dash. the rest is pretty gross.

it’s a lot uglier than a civic. i hope it’s at least nicer inside.

my only experience with these is parking them as a hotel valet in the 90's. the exterior doesn’t do anything for me but i sure liked sitting in them for 2 minutes. as long as the ac and the door locks work, NP.

the fines apply to all containers left on the docks after a certain number of days, whether they are empty or not, and whether they are supposed to be put on trains or trucks and moved inland or supposed to be loaded back onto ships to go to some other port. ideally, you never ship an empty container because that’s

but but the torque!

aww you got your g wagen in my gladiator!

it’s helping because right now the cheapest thing for companies to do is just leave containers at the port. the threat of fines pushes things along to the next cheapest thing to do. whatever that is. hiring more people to finish the distribution of goods, i guess.

the kids’ parents and the cops that let the kid go without writing anything down might think this is a youthful indiscretion.

this is true but the main question this article asks is, are we going to go back to low quality cars that literally fall apart or go to landfill whole because they are bricked?

i agree. i appreciate that it was fast, and i am sad that Studebaker shut down. but i saw one of these on the street last month and it’s not a handsome vehicle. it didn’t help that it was turning left through an intersection, it looked like a fat guy getting out of a chair.

tired is definitely the word. i guess it’s not a terrible price, but if i wanted it to look better on the inside i’d have to replace pretty much everything. viewed from the side, this model loses all of its presence. i’m just not that into it. ND without prejudice.

that’s what happens when you drive through a fly over.

according to the article, they only drove the first car for a week because they got the run around between carvana and the shop carvana chooses. the second car had issues that carvana should have caught and most likely did but didn’t address. the issues with the second car made it undriveable. from carvana’s website:

it’s a good way to save some some money off of new car price and used car financing interest without sacrificing warranty.

another headline could be “Carvana’s guarantees meant to offset worries raised by their novel business model are kind of boolsh

i think it reflects poorly on Carvana in two respects. first, a big part of their marketing is that they thoroughly inspect their vehicles and don’t sell any with this kind of damage. they stress this because their business model makes it difficult to thoroughly inspect their cars before buying and impossible to take

the article says that they only ignored it for a couple of hours. so one of two things happened. the new owner damaged the tire on the way to work from carvana, or carvana ignored the damaged tire and topped off the pressure to make the sale. which would have been a crummy thing to do.

i’m going to need more than a dictionary to understand your response.

do you just not believe in the concept of a halo car?

that’s my preference, too.
