cosmetically i hate it. those wheels and that fake patina have to go. and with a real paint job the body gap issues would need to be addressed. mechanically it’s meh. i’m not feeling it at all. my gut tells me this is an $8k truck, but my gut also wants to throw up my lunch so i dunno if trust it on this. still, NFD.

i played around with regular cruise control when i first got my license but i almost NEVER used it. adaptive cruise is a different animal.

yah the systems aren’t perfect. volvo is better than mazda and subaru and honda. but i drive about 30k highway miles a year for my job and the convenience farrrrrrrrrrrr outweighs the annoyances for me. i know i’m an outlier but i’m not the only one.

i had the 240sx confused with an 86 supra.

yah sorry i got the 240sx confused with my brother’s 86 supra

no, i wasn’t kidding. but i did have my old girlfriend’s 240sx confused with my brother’s 86 supra.

all you people saying the owner should pay to replace the battery then sell it will be the first ones to say WHY ARE THEY SELLING IT RIGHT AFTER PAYING FOR THAT NEW BATTERY. just say you don’t want to buy the truck.

i think you’ll only have to wait a few more years.

the best kind of correct.

i also think the mid4 II is ugly. how many wheels were supposed to fit under that front well?

headline: corrupt union!
story: corrupt management.

wtf even is this.

Gene and Jean never look at RPM or MPH anyway. they would be happy with 3 idiot lights and car play/android auto.

didn’t the 240 also have a crotch vent?

i don’t think there will be any confusion. i’ve never in my life heard an owner refer to their car just as a z. they have always said the number or the number first. and if there is confusion, it will only last as long as it takes for the other person to clarify. i firmly classify this as not a big fucking deal at all

i grew up with a pop up camper. by the second summer, my brother and i could set ours up in 15 minutes once the wheels were chocked. we weren’t in our teens yet. but as far as repairing them, burn it down for the insurance.

i will never buy another new car without adaptive cruise. just FYI if you feel the same, the cheapest Maverick config with it comes in at $31,510. Lariat trim level with the Lariat Luxury Package. that’s a lot more than $19,995 but it still seems like a pretty good value considering what you get at that level?

i don’t believe for a moment that the owner bought this car in spite of its supposed connection to Hitler. and i think anyone that does believe that is a fucking moron.

the 2021 subaru impreza does not have mute on the steering wheel. neither did the 2018 Toyota CH-R that i owned before that. neither did the 2017 Scion iA that i owned before that.

totally agree. hyundai needed to make the interior rugged or beachy and instead it looks like a mazda concept car from 2005.

as someone that drives a car and likes to see things at night, i am 100% in favor of the lower headlight thing.
