i can imagine. very low, very heavy. like trying to slide a manhole cover across a shag rug.

some people called it the space gangster. some called it the cowboy of love.

yeah, i assume every manufacturer tests in-house or 3rd party before submitting vehicles to EPA for official testing. i could be wrong, but i think it would be utterly insane to go into that test blind.

if that’s the case, a head to head comparison between the Taycan and the S should still be useful, whether it’s real world or test results.

my mom owned a purple ‘74 610 wagon with a white interior. it was fucking glorious. i never forgave my dad for giving it away 4 months before i got my learner’s permit.

this thing seems to be in really nice shape but i just don’t see any reason to buy it.

i’m torn. i like that the new Tacos have adaptive cruise standard, but the mpg is hard for me to deal with because i drive like 35k miles a year for my job. i went with a new C-HR in 2018 because at the time it was the cheapest way for me to get a hatchback and adaptive cruise and Toyota reliability. but then the CVT

i dunno. seems like the Taco and 4Runner consistently get praise for durability and resale value, but consistently get dinged for not risking those two great traits by updating the products. i thought everyone understood the tradeoffs.

that was an issue, but there were a couple of real issues.

Nader was just using the Corvair as an example. He wasn’t trying to change the entire automotive industry’s safety regulations and standards just to get Americans a safer Corvair. The paper proved Nader’s point, which was that the technology and ability existed to make all cars in the US safer.

that’s a damn good point. i was being lazy by talking about resale. the real reason i hate my car’s blue interior is because it’s so god damned hard to find parts. it doesn’t help that the phrasee i’m constantly googling for trim pieces is “Isis Blue.”

yeah i’ve got a blue on blue jag. i wish it were different. i owned a volvo with seats that started out ivory but were blue from my jeans by the time i sold it. and i’m always down with the brown. but i maintain that blue and red interiors hurt value.

that GM turbo V6 was only accepted as an outlier. besides the monster hp obviously, people liked the Regal-based turbo V6 cars because they proved that American manufacturers could beat Europeans at their own turbo game and build anything they wanted. but what Americans really wanted was a V8 with the same hp.

for some reason i also think all Volvos should have 5 cylinders.

i checked around to see what others are selling for. this isn’t a nice price, it’s just a price. with mileages this low i’d wait another 2 or 3 years for the price to go down some more and get one that doesn’t have a red interior. that warranty will expire within a year anyway. you know what fuck all that, V8 or no

he only drove 6k miles, but when he hits on his daughter’s friends he tells them they should “just sit in it.”

yeah i don’t see myself ever owning 2 F Types, so i’d go for the biggest engine.

yeah never buy a car with a red or blue interior.

that ass tho.

way ahead of you.
