Demand that the owner leave the vehicle running at the curb with the title in the glove box. Tell owner you will pay by wire transfer. Test drive vehicle for the rest of your life. This way, nobody gets sick. 

yeah. seems like he blew the engine and wants anyone that’s interested to know that he blew the engine but doesn’t want to have to come out and say he blew the engine. maybe the car is a mess. but there’s also a good chance the owner just got in over his head or has other shit to do.

not until today. i kind of like it. i’d say it’s the 2nd or 3rd ugliest Lotus. i mean it looks like an off-brand combination of a Jensen Interceptor and every Italian car made in the late 70's that’s worth less than $50,000 now. but there’s no way i’d say it’s uglier than the Europa.

i agree about their design. and Soul Red is the best red in the business. they just aren’t doing great financially.
