Republicans: “We can’t do [popular globally-proven social policy] because [scary bad dog whistle] will happen!”

But those are rental cars.

The technology drives costs up a little bit (and a little bit less over time, like most things). But it’s also the only technology on the car that literally pays for itself and in short order. The entire premise behind their attack (and by lobbying, the auto industry) is bullshit.

Clever! I never thought to blame the union when I forgot to do my homework...

Oh that is most certainly a karen behavior!

I think we’re far closer to solving nuclear fusion than convincing Karens to use the correct lane.

Adjust your mirrors properly and you will no longer be bothered by Silverados. Side benefit is, you know, minimizing blind spots.

Hahahahahahahahahhaa oh my god look at this thing. Someone please give Elon some antiparasitics because this guy has worms controlling his entire brain.

Outside of the ZEV mandate, the EPA and CA standard are exactly the same and are very closely aligned with CAFE on purpose. This notion that there are “different standards” is little more than a lie.

There is too much money in F1.

100% of these will be leased, because BMW is now a rental car agency that happens to manufacture its own fleet.

I come to articles like these to read comments and validate my feelings.

I’ve developed the assumption that they build in ample empty space behind body panels to stash the drugs.

I think this is a mistake. Mini’s website even says curb weight of 4,696 pounds, but there’s no way that’s right — that’s would put it at the same curb weight as a 4Runner.

The only two times I cancelled was 1. Driver didn’t show at 4:30am for a ride to the airport and 2. Driver shows up in a car that was different than the profile and with a different state license plate. Said sorry, I’m not getting in your car...

This is one of the vehicles that looks like the great recession.

I mean, the other way to look at this is that they fail to make a car anyone wants without a deep discount.

When the redesigned Jeep came out, I ended up with a price of almost $55,000 to spec a V6 model to have the same basic options as my 2016 4Runner. Now, it’s a given that my 4runner is a decade behind the times, but I really don’t see how the Jeep is worth a $13k premium unless you really want a Jeep.
