There’s a rare few tall(ish) greenhouse cars today. They just cost an arm and a leg.

$2,100 is an insult listing. Nothing screams louder, “My car is worthless” like $2,100. $2,500? Maybe something there. $1,900? We know it’s bad and you want to dump it.

The 2JZ was not popular at all when it was available. It was popular amongst the import tuner crowd and it hardly existed because so few of them sold. People hardly talked about the 2JZ-GTE because no one could afford it.

I’d never buy a Mini. Considering what I read about them, it seems like leasing them are a pain too.

I wouldn’t pay money for all of these. It’s Fit with a manual or bust in this segment.

I’ve never met anyone who WANTED a Yaris. Wanted a Fit? Yes. Yaris? No.

In 5 years, people will look at the Yaris through rose tinted glasses. Some ridiculous movie will come out bringing the car back to the public consciousness. Then like the 2JZ, people will sing praises about how great it was not based on what their actual experience was, but rather based on what they think they should…

I’m not bashing the 2JZ. I’m bashing the lovefest. I understand the motor for what it was in its appropriate context.

Rest of world Prado. My GX has it and I’m not fond of it. At least sunroofs are more reliable than open sky roofs, but I would have paid more to delete it.
