I would BUY an LS500 or a slightly used LS460.

Forget pretty. How about just good?
Transverse engine Benz? Pass.
I’m referring to the 2GR.
They had to outdo Toyota with the Supra unveiling?
I think the Japanese makers got some great marketing during the 70s fuel shortage. They were more fuel efficient than American cars by simple merit of being smaller and lighter, but they weren’t necessary leaders in fuel economy. That image has stuck despite how different the Toyota lineup looks like today.
I see what you did there. Yes, but smaller and lighter.
Yup. Pretty much. Toyota even sacrifices fuel economy for reliability.
I’d personally not care that it’s a V6. The only downside is that Toyota locks down their ECU tighter than Fort Knox. Any computer tuning will be impossible.
Minus 2005~2010. That was Toyota’s malaise years. My XV40 has been a disappointment.
The same reason it took them 14 years to implement D4-S across the board.
Ford guys who have really good relationships with their local Ford dealer will be able to buy on at MSRP. Everyone else, look out.
But the real travesty. The author uses an android.
Wondering if it’s worth the trouble at that power level.
Leather wrapped steering wheel and shift knob.
There’s no demand for this even in Europe. The only reason that one Fiat sells in Brazil is probably because of how the Brazilian tax/subsidy system works.
The Mustang, Corvette, Miata, M cars etc are highly profitable for each maker and do more than just keep the lights on and are part of an entire product portfolio.
No. That would be more rational and effective.
Yes. The whole car.
I know what he’s referring to. And that car did not keep the lights on for Mazda. There’s still a longer list of caveats for reliability and even in that form, the engine never went into any serious passenger car mass production. It’s not a commercial success by any serious automotive measure.
