The first time I played Return of the Obra Dinn I was sure that some of the identities couldn’t be determined without guessing. Nope, Lucas Pope played fair. Connections does too.

“I stare at “Fleabag,” “Fargo,” and “Firefly” and furiously jam “Friends” before quickly hitting “submit.” Wrong. One off.”
“Anyone that was good at their job left either during the development of ME3 or immediately after and it shows.” Classy of you to say that in the thread right under reposted tributes to just-fired veterans.
Counterpoint: I virtually never get to see a same-sex romance in movies or on TV. In terms of heroic lead characters outside comedy and drama genres, that becomes literally never. The ability of modern games to reflect player choices is responsible for an enormous proportion of the queer content that actually delivers…
If the devs* wanted a Fallout game without NPCs, they should have designed gameplay in a way that compensated for that absence rather than just letting it stand as a stark difference between 76 and the earlier titles.
The legal liability is a far smaller problem than the bad PR involved in being a toxic workplace for women and then denying them compensation through a loophole. But hey, Riot, you probably saved a couple hundred thou, so bonuses for everybody! (And by everybody I mean the men.)
“the Democratic Party itself has not changed much—it still consists of the same elected officials as last year, the same Congresspersons and Senators, the same fundraising apparatus and donors, the same lineage of party functionaries who see themselves as the rightfully appointed decisionmakers.”
“And you’re going to sit there and tell me he could never win there, that we have to keep doing the same god damn strategy we’ve been doing for decades and have been LOSING?”
Doesn’t help that a highly placed “nonpartisan” official smeared her days before the election, neither.
And why is it that Star Ocean games always tantalize you with a futuristic space setting and then dump you for most of the duration on some backwater planet? That got old so quickly and they still never grew out of it.
This one was mostly all right. Other than the idiotic twist, the key problems were a cumbersome crafting system and the fact that around half the game (if not more) forces you to use the same three characters. By the time you have access to anybody else, changing your setup is a pain. (And one of those three…
Funny thing...the Secretary of State also has that authority.
I don’t think many people will have a problem with trying him for treason should that happen.
Using an anti-gay slur: not a great way to convince people that PC culture has gone too far.
“Since coming online, though, Lubinsky admits the site has driven up rents in competitive markets like San Jose and San Francisco an average of 5 percent above listing price.”
Why are you looking at proportions rather than raw numbers? There are thousands of people who want this content; that isn’t justification for including it?
I would have preferred that; then I would have taken my business elsewhere and not gotten caught up in the anticipation.
Translation: “Other people are playing with my toys and now they’re all slightly different. I wish we could agree that I’m the only one who deserves to be able to enjoy them.”
I doubt you’ve done as much as a Google search on this, but there are tons of indie games for gay and gay-friendly audiences. But we want to play AAA titles too.
This is nearly the only love scene in the game with a male character that can be seen by both Scott and Sara players. Can’t do a side-by-side comparison when half the material just doesn’t exist.
