How do you release two homage vehicles so close to one another yet manage to get one so wrong and one so right?

A Jalopnik State of the Union would be most appreciated.

Stay off of the internet then. People aren’t going to not talk about something just because you haven’t got a clue what’s going on.

Except we live in a world where the Smart ForTwo exists. The Fiat 500, the other retro small car, is half a foot shorter than the regular Mini with a 7 inch shorter wheelbase. It’s certainly possible for Mini to live up to its namesake.

The only prescription is fewer miles driven per individual.

all factors that increase with the weight of a vehicle

This is because the primary types of PM emissions—tire wear dust, brake pad dust, tiny road particles, and road dust re-suspension—are all factors that increase with the weight of a vehicle, and electric vehicles and hybrids, thanks to their dense battery packs, tend to weigh on average 24 percent more than

What about bus / light rail?

I sold bikes for years and you just couldn’t sell beginner bikes. It seems better now, but I can’t tell you how many GSXRs,CBRs etc I sold to young males with zero riding experience. You just can’t talk them out of it, I think they would literally rather die on a sportbike than be seen on a 250.

Plus, I hate to say it but there is way too much easily-available power these days for WAY too many idiots. I know this won’t be a popular opinion here, but it’s the simple truth. Particularly in the US, there is no expectation (regulatory or otherwise) that people actually have training in this kind of vehicle.

Motorcy

The problem with the Teslas (minus the new Model S) is that there is no resolution. It really is like a face with no nose. Its obviously designed to have *something* there, but instead of putting it there, you put a big expanse of nothing. Its flat, blank space. Put some curvature there. Something. Anything.

Judge: “And how does the police department answer charges that excessive force was used in detaining the alleged driver up to and including baton-sodomy?”

The dogs don’t deserve that, the Honda doesn’t deserve that, the baby doesn’t deserve that (yet, considering his upbringing). This guy is a gumball-worthy dipshit.

I’ve seen posts by idiots claiming you cant design a better A-10 and asking me to render a picture of a better one when what it looks like is entirely irrelevant. Modern armor would be more effective and lighter; sensor arrays could be optimally integrated rather than attached in ways that would impact other aspects

The only reasonable solution are new built A-10s. New wings are only a partial measure, those airframes are several decades old and quite worn out from their heavy use over the last 25 years.

Not necessarily. There are things the A-10 cant do or is not perfect at. The point of this is saying nothing new that degrades current capabilities. Id be all for a new plane that does what the A-10 does, but better.

The problem is that computer engineers are no better as securing networks than the car guys are. You just have to look at the news and see how many breaches there are. That’s just the ones we know about too. Most companies don’t report. They just try to fix it and keep their mouths shut.

They don’t even need engineers. Here’s how to make these systems safer:

I think it looks much nicer than the Miata. I prefer the crisp lines to more bulgy looking styling of the Miata.

I like how the comments are stating they stick with a miata because of a slight HP difference when there’s a drastic (approx. 30 lb-ft) Torque difference...
