So I know to avoid it in the future, what brand detergent was it??!

When I was at the Univ of Texas in Austin, I applied for part time jobs working for the state. I was a part time network admin. I'm really glad I got the job. State offices were near campus, which was a real plus. See if you can find part time jobs on campus or near campus since commuting costs will end up counting

I skip the grooves and just use my super strength to press them together. The trick is to use both the new and old bars of soap during the shower session that introduces the new bar. By the end of the shower, both bars will be soaked and combine-ready, so all you have to do is press them together, and use suds as

Ok, thanks for the info. Last time I tried with a 4GB, it told me there wasn't enough free space. Next time I need it, I'll give it another go with a different 4GB drive to see if to works.

Additionally, once you download the ISO, you can use Microsoft's Windows 7 USB/DVD download tool here [www.microsoftstore.com] for an easy way to get that ISO onto a bootable USB thumb drive. You'll need at least an 8GB drive, since the ISOs are larger than 4GB.

Sorry, No, can't say that I know much about olives, but I've noticed that they're selling Cokes here in the plastic bottles with 16.9 oz instead of 20 oz! Such injustice shouldn't go unpunished!

I'll cast my vote for iPad here for the following reasons: great apps, easy to use, easy to get support via an apple store if you have a hardware issue.

My eye doctor charges extra to get "fitted" for contacts. I know they're struggling to survive so I never complain. Even with my vision plan, I can never walk out of there without spending at least $200 for exam plus a year's worth of 2-week-wear contacts.

Hi there, I'm on stable channel, Chrome 13.0.782.112 m ... no problems here.

So... how's the quality of the wifi in this thread?

flagged for removal?? :(

Thanks for the insight. The first and foremost device I'm concerned with playback of SRTs in MP4 is iOS iPhone and iPad. In your dealings with this, have you ever seen an iOS device detect and display CCs in an MP4?

I, too, would like to know more about embedding .SRT files into MP4 files. Not burning them in, but including them as separate tracks as mentioned here [diveintomark.org] ... I actually posted a question up top before seeing yours. My goal is to serve the .MP4s as progressive download files for playback on iOS devices

I've been using the lowest-end Sony Vegas Movie Studio HD 11 [www.sonycreativesoftware.com] for the past few years. It works well with a timeline and allows you crossfade multiple video and audio tracks, embed text and even do some simple effects like zooming and panning a portion of your video. I'm sure there are

Has anyone successfully embeded a subtitle track inside an MP4 (not mkv) and then post it on a URL for progressive download playing on iOS with the subtitles showing up as an option? It looks like this should be possible, but I haven't seen this done anywhere else before.

Seconded!

Thanks for the link, great read! I never knew my questions and uncertainties about the existence (or lack thereof) of people from other worlds had a name.

Doc Brown's Flux Capacitor was pretty convincing, though!
