I was dishes by hand mostly. I find that pots and pans I have to wash by hand anyway. We stir-fry a lot and the diswasher just doesn't scrub well enough.

@infmom: well at least we're on the same coast! :) South OC here.... And with a 4 month old, we're not going to be doing any long distance driving any time soon.
My aunt used to make prickly pear (picture #2) preserves when i was young. I loved it! I've never seen prickly pear preserves for sale anywhere though...
@Gyroscope352: Another option is Windows Home Server which backs up your home computers and allows you to go back (by default) 3 months, 3 weeks or 3 days. WHS backs up the hard drive image, so if your laptop drive dies, you just install a new hard drive, boot from the WHS recovery cd and pull down the most recent…
@Valentine Svensson: i blade and use runkeeper pro. it's great!
@HeartBurnKid uses Linux: the taint of OS's: I agree! Some Del Taco places look like they were cleaned maybe once back in 1999 by just applying a new coat of paint everywhere. The one by my work has some rad 80's style wall tiles that weren't cool even back in the 80's. The newly-built Del Tacos are fine though. And…
@Jason Fitzpatrick: Edgeless can be configured to not wrap vertically. This way you can still save the widescreen horizontal returning while just dealing with the up and down direction your normal way.
speaking of olive oil, the stuff is always on sale at tj maxx and you can get a full bottle for a decent price. as far as i know, they're not expired bottles of oil. These are the big glass bottles with the pouring spouts too. Got our most recent 2 bottles from them.
@D0rk: I saw the Belkin in person and it's just a little too bulky in my opinion. I think they could have gotten rid of a plug. 2 ac outs + 2 usb charge outlets would be enough in my opinion. This way you can ask to share the wall outlet with a fellow public laptoper and still charge your usb devices.
@envador: This is the closest I could find to illustrate my point: [www.walmart.com] It's more than $10, but the one I got was cheap enough that I didn't have to think twice before putting it in my cart.
I can't find it online to show you, but at target and wal-mart they have these metal folding dish racks that also expand/collapse width-wise. They go for less than $10 (maybe even around $5, i forget because I got it so long ago). I've been using that to hold up my router and network drives. It's sturdy enough to…
@Polzin: mine are usually delivered as loaves. sometimes with corn.
@wewillchange: i read that the wrong way.
haha! mute. i got it :)
@jester37: I signed up for magic jack using my discover card that i never use for anything but paying a my ATT wireless bill. I don't even carry it in my wallet. I canceled Magic Jack and about a month later I started getting fraudulent charges from various places on my Discover Card. Could be a coincidence, but…
I have a cup every morning. But in the back of my mind I have always wondered... Coffee beans are "roasted" right? From what I gather, the coffee beans start out green, then they're cooked/baked/heated until they're dark brown or almost black. Isn't that the same as "cookin' em till they're burnt!" ??
@jupiterthunder: Instead of asking the question in that direction, I would ask, "How did Trackr even get approved?"
@abhiroop: +1; well said.
The invisible bookshelf idea looks messy to me. Unless all the books are the same size, it just looks like clutter on the wall. Maybe it's my OCD kicking in!
Thanks LH, I had stopped visiting for the past few weeks because the comments had gotten so irritating... Especially when people bash an article without RTFA first. Hoping the dust will settle soon.
