For a <Windows 7 user, the over-complication comes from the abstraction provided by the overlay. However they supposedly set the default to 'desktop' view in 8.1.

I know what you're referring to. I've had some of my comments not being approved even though I believe they offer more of a conversation than other comments that have gotten approved, and it IS annoying. It really is.

From what I can see it's not a reason to do with the premise of the game. I think it's because a gun seemed more natural as opposed to another object that would have made the pivoting movement of that object appear not so natural.
