I’m actually all for DC (or their parent WB) enforcing their IP.
But destroying all the ones they have? And $750 additional damages per car? Is that per car ever made, or just the ones they still have?

Almost as if the editorial policy is pretty loose, allowing the myriad viewpoints of diverse contributors free reign...

IIRC, at least one of the actors said Lucas actually asked for stiff, formal performances.

Okay, that’s great... but I meant about Coates dropping Wakanda-based rhymes and rhythms.

Me, too. Which is the problem.

Since the question was “what has become part of your life,” not “what’s your favorite”... 24 hr a day techno security state. Big brother is now real. He cares about different stuff than the Sci-Fi said he would, and he’s not necessarily run by the state (though the state can access him whenever it wants), but he’s

It was a power fantasy, but aren’t all superhero comics? I thought he actually did a pretty great job of showing that T’Challa wasn’t perfect. His character defects got in the way - his pride and diffidence - but he’s a hero and a badass, so he always pulled through.

Well done human, I shall reward you with a cold stare.”

See... you guys aren’t helping.
Either with me wanting to stay away from the show... or my attraction to it.

I think this was an appropriate update. Gotta give em something.

There’s an exploitive prurience to the setup, and it’s having a weird effect on me.
The enticement of naked Jaimie Alexander covered in tats does indeed give me the tingles, as I think it’s supposed to. And that’s repulsing me from the show. I feel too pandered to, and a bit exploited myself.

I like to think that the wizarding world is small enough and interesting enough that if you delve into any wizarding family you’ll find connections and interesting tidbits abut how they contributed to history.

I see her current contributions as being much like if Tolkien had had access to current media tech. When he felt some piece of the Silmarillion or other ancillary material was ready, there’s just a distribution pipe ready to take it.
