Noooo....
Good friend of mine named his son Marshal, after Marshal Dillon.
Could it be that the best use of these books by far comes from not just a read through, but reference to over the course of months or years of play? That’s what they were made for.
I want to see another Craig bond film, and I even want to see another Mendes Bond film. I am really, deeply uninterested in another film that delves deep into Bond’s past. So uninterested that I might not see this one in the theater.
Because one of the most bankable stars in the world isn’t going to give her time and credibility over to a Netflix series?
Whether or not I agree with the optimistic outcome, I appreciate both the optimism and your bothering to actually do some figuring. Both are all too rare.
I’ve lived in lower income areas virtually all my adult life, and worked in a non-profit helping low income people gain financial literacy. Yes, there are a lot of expensive rent-to-own type operations for selling goods to them, but those aren’t services. They fall for those because they want a thing, and at some…
I am up for them to surprise with any - anything - but that. Eggsy is Galahad now, and Firth’s character is dead. Everything about the first film is lessened if he comes back.
Fair point, though these days I’m not sure having him be American is much better.

Small thought on Dr. Strange:
It sounds to me as if they’ve found the nugget of a somewhat different story here. Like they’re going to lean on different angles.

Even if they could do that, I doubt they would. Price is…
Thank you very much indeed. Exactly the explanation I was looking for.
Agreed on the unpredictability. I also agree that transit pods, as you put it, will likely come before fully autonomous vehicles. But they’re going to make cabs obsolete, not mass transit. The efficiencies of scale make mass transit hard to beat, and there are many many people who rely on it every day to get to jobs…
I’ve hear that criticism several times, but am unclear on what it means. Can you tell me what specifically makes the movie read to you like a TV show?
At least half a century, probably more like a full one. A lifetime.
These things are still a couple years from rolling out at all.
The area of the U is 4,422,773 km2 or 1,707,642 sq mi.
The area of the largest US State, Alsaka, is hardly larger, at 1,717,856 km2 or 663,268 sq mi. America’s largest state with any real population would be Texas at 268,581 sq mi or 696,241 km2, which isn’t as big as the EU, but there still aren’t nearly as many…
