“when you can’t tell which is a side quest and which is a main quest, because they are both so well made, shouldn’t that be ideal?”

FTR, if I could cast anyone, Chyler Leigh would be my choice for Lois Lane- a role that has never been cast live-action to my satisfaction.
Things I loved seeing in this:
Those are great shorts, and I can see getting Wondy in there, but not Babs. Too tied up in the BatMoney machine.
Also, ‘9er Pessimippopotamus brightened up the suit, and it looks GREAT this way.
Yeah, you’re just wrong. You’re describing exactly what the execs fear, but superhero costumes in live action have consistently been darker and more muted than what people regularly wear in real life, or even what regular people wear on the same shows.
And then there’s the larger issue: it really feels like single-player play is being shifted to the back shelf all over the place, even though there’s clamoring for great single-player.
Even in games that offer both, the strong trend seems to be to brush off good single-player in favor of developing the PvP or MMO…
If you had told me 25 years ago that Johnny Depp would be making more interesting career choices than Winona Ryder, I would have laughed my head off.
Well, they’ve both become very vapid.
Both used to have a real substance wrapped in the style, but both have pursued and cultivated the latter over the former.
Yes- Gravitron!
Yeah, she’s hilarious. Have you seen Children’s Hospital?
I think Spidey is one of those characters who really does work best serialized, but the budget just isn’t there yet to do him right on a weekly basis.
Though it is the weapon that women traditionally trained in to fulfill their duty to protect the household when the men were gone. So that’s interesting. Or coincidental.
I can’t give you the thousand stars you deserve.
My favorite thing is not that she’s become a badass, butt hat she’s become THE most ruthless, off-the-rails character in our group now.
Agree on Daryl, and REALLY agree on their chemistry. Man, the two of them just make shit happen between them without doing much of anything. You just feel what’s between them, and the character pairing was so natural yet unexpected.
Never came around. I need to rewatch her run because there’s so much love for her and I just don’t get it.
Like many performances that I’ve turned around on (notably Amell in Arrow), I hated the character at first because I thought the actor was doing a bad job until I saw what they were really doing.
I had a nemesis prof in college who was essentially a gayer ginger version of Rickman’s Snape. When the first movie came out I just about jumped out of my seat.
Pretty much.
