It's too much to hope for, but I'm still gunning for robots that look more like Shogun Warriors than Bayformers. I'd like to see a skin on them, and some design beyond how many jaggedy bits of metal they can fit onto a humanoid form. All those jaggedy bits are way too exposed if they're functional, and beyond silly

Fair.

AND it's not color "corrected"to Teal and Orange!!!!!

Yeah- there are a bunch of shots you could have said the same thing about. It's vibrant and poppy, but doesn't lose an appropriately serious tone. A very hard line to walk and it'll be cool to see him do it through the whole film.

Glad to see this video. Craig's Bond has been very helpful in redressing the quandary modern manhood finds itself in, and done a LOT to bring it out of it's reactionary regression.

The theme is there. At the end. Listen with your ears. It's just abstracted, and I LOVE that- how it bleeds from almost a sound effect into the iconic notes in the background until the visuals sync to the shattered "sting."

Me, too. I'm always glad to see someone else caring about cinematography- it's a visual medium after all!

The "Old Bond Movies."

Ho

I think you're giving a little to much weight to one quote from one actor (not even a writer or producer) who's NOT EVEN ON THIS SHOW. And even if it's true, the premier hasn't even aired yet! if the show naturally develops in that direction, or if fans want it, it will introduce some powers.

Sci-Fi and Rachel Nichols- two of my favorite things to watch. I'll at least give it a chance.

I really thought I'd never say this, but Arrow actually looks good.

I don't think the Raimi films were perfect by a long shot, but it's a movie- that scene was there to make a point. One I think you missed in a wash of fanboi pedantry.

Even if it were a necessary effect of making them work, I would have duct taped over them!

Your name is apt.

Sounds like they're making the Ant-Man movie based on the theif who steals the tech, not Pym. So I don't see the Wasp in there. And I'm not psyched.

Again, my question is whether he can find the lead in that, but yes, he did well with them. It's not that I think he's not capable of it, I just seem to be the only Whedonite with reservations that he can't necessarily do it.

This is true- last time I tried to get a friend into New Who we hunted for the right HDMI cable for 20 minutes before finally just copying over an episode on a thumb drive and watching it on his laptop. And that was AFTER verifying that our equipment matched up (except for that dumb cable)!!!

The only real problem, and it's a big one, is that most people don't watch TV like I (and probably you) do. they don't sit down to watch a particular thing that they want to give attention to. They put the damn thing on and then just let it drone away in the background.

The great white hart as the spirit of the forest is a pretty old idea.
