No, I think it's really a problem that Supe's suit can even be interpreted to look like this clunky mess.

You left out Stinkmeaner.
"this show has Lara Pulver, who played Irene Adler in BBC's "Sherlock."
Though I love my hyper-saturated instantanious media landscape, it was grainy pictures like this that really stirred the imagination. Reminds me of the 1st Ed D&D illustrations, which I think were more like hieroglyphs than actual renderings.
Any improvement int he speaker quality? Info on that, please, because it wasn't JUST the fit that forced me to find a suitable replacement (Sennheiser mm30i, BTW).
The original twenty issues are simply one of the greatest achievements in comic history. they're not gritty or challenging or meta. They're just very well plotted and imagined, with deep characterization played out through great scripting and perfect art.

"Pro: Oh my god is there nothing Jessica can do that isn't heartbreakingly adorable? Every time I see this creature I just want to wrap a blanket around her shoulders and give her two thin mints from my freezer with a glass of milk."
Part of why I haven't even been on here in awhile. The commenting system - including rewarding and elevating better commenters - was a huge part of what made io9 great. I just don't understand what they're thinking.
I remember him disdaining Robin, but I think he's cagey, and I'd want to see his exact wording. Or he might have changed his mind, as you say.
I'm glad to see Ross stepping outside his comfort zone a bit by going at least somewhat impressionistic, but I'm still underwhelmed by the product.
Sorry to intrude here, but I can't find another way. Three (hopefully quick) questions:
I hope I'm responding to the article not someone else's post, but I really can't figure this commenting system out. Anyway:
I was making a general statement about recent superhero films, having not yet seen ASM. now that I've seen it, I think they handled it well by having him explicitly state that this is his mess to clean up and then not having any big celebration of him as a hero.
THANK you. I am so tired of this. yes, it's narratively tight, but it denies the protagonist the opportunity for real heroism.
"I know Twilight's generally reviled, but if its otherwise baleful influence has contributed to Hollywood's recent embrace of "man candy" for the female demo (like in, say, Avengers)...I'll take it!"
According to SuperSarah above, this quote was taken WAY out of context- don't let one misleading pull quote be determinative.
Thank you for providing the context that the article REALLY should have. It was plain misleading before. And now I need to buy some new jammies.
Sometimes these things are won and lost on release dates. thus will it be here, but they'll get to hide behind "Everyone knew DKR was going to grab #1, so given that...."
This appears to be fixed now... but was the most baffling thing in the article.
