The original L'Enfant plan for Washignton DC is, I think, just about about the apogee of city planning. It has an ordered grid, with street names that allow easy location of any point. 7th & H Streets NE are exactly what you'd think- the coordinate 8 streets up and 7 streets over in the Northeast quadrant.

I think they could acknowledge without making a big deal. Luis and Maria were married, and it was celebrated as just a good thing, or more often, just how things were. They made each other happy. they even had a kid, and I don't think sex was ever brought into it.
