The former.
The former.
Was he?
I don't "kind of" miss Oracle.
Interested- how old are you?
I think the basis of the season is cool, it's just that Moffat had already worn out having Rory or Amy or the Doctor or SOMEONE die or nearly die in tearjerking fashion BEFORE the season began and then kept doing it. It's a joke in our house now, and turns any moment that even looks like he might do that into a…
"It required wires in parts of the thalamus, which obviously wouldn't be done with humans,"
Well, those decisions are the basis of the Avengers', so they'll be behind either it's undoing or it's success. I think that Marvel may be using to Avengers to really come out of the closet and announce to the non-geek world what comic books have really been all about for the last 50 years. We'll see how that goes.
It's an original based on an extremely faulty premise: that boxing will be exciting when the combatants have no heart or soul and feel no pain.
Yeah, so as you just pointed out, real, innexpensive indies do still get made- I mean Brick was only a few years ago. They've just always been the rarity.
As long as no one "dies."
Nice.
I hate the stetson, but love the Doctor's new longer, wilder, weirder hair. It frames his bone structure in a way that points up it's wonky mass.
"The lengths they are going to placate people by keeping everyone's favorite story in continuity is severely hampering what they have the ability to logically tell"
But all the virtues you state are true with a >consistent< reboot, as well.
The original organic webshooters?
Totally agree... except on BSG. They killed Billy. Just shot his shit in the chest and he dropped and that was that. From that point on, my friends and I didn't consider anyone safe. Starbuck's death/rebirth sucked hard, but that was just part of the general mess of the last season.
Not sure you could get away with "Little people HITTING THINGS!" or, you know... anything about his parents from their neglect to their eventual demise.
You do that. You... hug that... furry, homicidal... francophonic ape tight.
I heart you 'cause you think like me :^D
I think the key would be in not trying to reinvent everything, but in better portraying some of the crazy visual concepts of the original. That castle was just a trip.
