Let’s not pretend this is an EV problem.  It’s a problem with almost all modern vehicles, regardless of their drivetrain.

Ehhh, I think there should really be four.

Most windshields for old cars are cheap. I paid like $100 bucks for the new windshield in my ‘65 Chevy. It wasn’t all that hard to get too. You could get clear, clear with tint strip, or an EZ-Eye green replica.

Whooops, I meant I’d kick Sargent to the curb.  Brainfarted Lawson in there.  Lawson needs a seat, Sargent a swift goodbye.

1) Just because some people notice them, doesn’t mean everyone does. Especially if a suspect is in a vehicle, the chances they spot a drone gone down a ton. That’s not exactly a rare situation.

It’s like he doesn’t realize that for the history of F1, the bulk of the grid has been seat fillers.

Sure, but I think you’d agree most people don’t want a full on police state. So what people are willing to accept lies somewhere between the legal limits of the law and some other extreme. Not many people want the government surveillance brought right up against the legal limit in all aspects.

Sure, they aren’t great all the time, but they are some of the time.

Shoplifting and vandalism they could easily follow suspects back to wherever they are going; ideally the drone would go unnoticed during this.

Jerry predates WWII cans. “Jerry” came out of the British in WWI as their nickname for the Germans. So Jerry-can was simply the German’s gas can.

That paint and interior are well received among the BMW fans.

My dad had a 328d of that generation for a while. The A6 TDI he replaced it with was an upgrade in almost every way. Faster, more comfortable, decidedly less cramped (yes, I’m aware it’s a class size up, but you would have thought it was two sizes up from the interior), similar if not better fuel economy.

I totally agree! But it’s also possibly that is still shorter than when compared to a traditional rack an pinion (or recirculating ball, or... you get the point).

Do you even know how that meme is supposed to be used?

Just a theoretical example: If it takes a driver 1 second to turn a traditional rack and pinion to full lock, what the fuck does lag matter on an electronic steering rack if it takes a driver 0.5s to get to full lock, plus 0.125s of lag. That would still be faster than a traditional system.

It is your fault for constantly reminding everyone you own we.  Like, we get it dude.

You can go lock-to-lock in a Cybertruck much faster than a conventional vehicle, which would make the lagginess even worse

Jesus, you really do try to shove the Charger into everything. Get’s old as fuck real fast.

I’d concentrate on just accepting the fact you are likely going to have to look at a lot of vehicle. While it’s important to focus on models known to be reliable, it’s also important to try to suss out a seller that cared for their vehicle vs one that didn’t. It’s just a lot harder to do that than look at only

Isn’t the ratio greatly quickened when stopped like this? So, at higher speed, the driver would likely have to turn the steering wheel even further, which would reduce the lag.
