Jerry predates WWII cans. “Jerry” came out of the British in WWI as their nickname for the Germans. So Jerry-can was simply the German’s gas can.

That paint and interior are well received among the BMW fans.
My dad had a 328d of that generation for a while. The A6 TDI he replaced it with was an upgrade in almost every way. Faster, more comfortable, decidedly less cramped (yes, I’m aware it’s a class size up, but you would have thought it was two sizes up from the interior), similar if not better fuel economy.
I totally agree! But it’s also possibly that is still shorter than when compared to a traditional rack an pinion (or recirculating ball, or... you get the point).
Do you even know how that meme is supposed to be used?
Just a theoretical example: If it takes a driver 1 second to turn a traditional rack and pinion to full lock, what the fuck does lag matter on an electronic steering rack if it takes a driver 0.5s to get to full lock, plus 0.125s of lag. That would still be faster than a traditional system.
It is your fault for constantly reminding everyone you own we. Like, we get it dude.
You can go lock-to-lock in a Cybertruck much faster than a conventional vehicle, which would make the lagginess even worse
Jesus, you really do try to shove the Charger into everything. Get’s old as fuck real fast.
I’d concentrate on just accepting the fact you are likely going to have to look at a lot of vehicle. While it’s important to focus on models known to be reliable, it’s also important to try to suss out a seller that cared for their vehicle vs one that didn’t. It’s just a lot harder to do that than look at only…
Isn’t the ratio greatly quickened when stopped like this? So, at higher speed, the driver would likely have to turn the steering wheel even further, which would reduce the lag.
None of those are street legal though, right? I mean, yeah, you can legally use them like a bicycle (except where e-bikes are specifically prohibited, but that’s a pretty narrow selection of bike trails/parks). So it’s not really a fair comparison. You can get this insured and get a plate on it. None of those can…
Ain’t no one in the US (well, the western world really) cross shopping a 390 Adventure and a scooter; except maybe with a Trail 125.
Monaco isn’t a shit track. It’s a shit track for the current cars. Well, it’s a shit track since the mid ‘70s or ‘80s. Cars since then (even though they were still pretty small) are just too big.
Numerous videos showing people getting hit at these things, and they still choose to stand in tight circles surrounding amateur garbage drivers trying to show off? I feel bad for no one.

Electric motorcycle typically do this; primarily because a person on a motorcycle is less aerodynamic than a brick, so it’s a huge range penalty to be going 65~70mph for electric motorcycles. You’ll commonly see things like: 170 mile range (city range. 115 mile range highway)
So yeah, screw this crap. I have no problem paying with cash—you see it flowing out of your fingers so the expense hurts like it should—as opposed to adding that expense to the credit card total as you “painlessly” roll it over and keep paying interest on the balance. Duh—cash is king.
Why do the EVs not have a clean 75 kwh = full, and 37.5 kwh = 50% is beyond me.
