Subaru’s infotainment systems have been laggy garbage for over a decade. I’ve got a ‘18 Outback and the infotainment is slow as fuck and garbage. Heck, it won’t even consistently run Android Auto and for some reason is extremely picky on what cable I use to connect my phone.

My family has owned two Audi 4.2. One in a A8 and the other in an S8. The A8 did 180k (or was it 230k?) before the transmission blew for a second time and wasn’t worth replacing. The S8 was much shorter owned, but was in the 120k range. Neither had any engine issues.

It’s just a garbage headline.

Honda is still building the engines right now; seems weird you’d think this is related to RBPT and yet they are still two years aways from actually making their own engines.

Restomods can be subtle, but they can be loud and in your face too. Restomod is a huge category. It’s literally just defined by restored and modified. Some concentrate more on restoration, and thus are more original, some concentrate more on modification.

He might not have been the glue, but his loss certainly created a power vacuum and it appears the resulting power struggle is largely causing what’s going on.  So it could have been that Maetschitz was some magic glue, or his mere existence would have been the plug filling a spot and thus preventing power struggles.
