What are you talking about? Regardless of the color, painting fenders almost always costs more than the fenders themselves. The paint itself doesn’t matter all that much.

Heck, I don’t even dislike white. But I can’t think of many cars where white is my favorite color that it comes in.
The continued bastardization of model names into quasi-brands is ridiculous.
I don’t believe Tesla ever had the reliability issues that plague the other providers. So to claim it’s simply because they got a head start is false.
~$0.03 per gallon is generally pure profit. It’s not much (1% profit margin given current gas prices), but by definition, that’s after keeping the lights on.
The Tesla version of having to not pull out any card at all and simply plugging your vehicle in is also acceptable.
I tend to agree, the problem is that the few vehicles that offer PHEV versions in addition to standard non-plug in versions, tend to be very expensive in relation to the ROI. I started pricing out a Prius Prime compared to a Prius AWD (which should be the shortest return on added expense since the AWD is more…
Wait, so if you had a $20k watch, and you land in Germany for your vacation, you have to declare that watch and pay taxes on it? Or is this just because Arnold plans on leaving the watch in Germany (to be auctioned)?
I’m ignorant on Honda’s hybrid systems... is this capable of electric mode only? Certainly 1 kWh can’t get you very far, but how far is it? And this is not a plug-in, correct?
It’s amazing that vehicles like this get green lit, and yet, they decide to cut the manual GTI?
I’ve got a ‘18 Outback and my wife has a ‘19 Forester. Let’s just say neither of us are looking to replace them with another Subaru.
Plus, is there a coating on the panels that is being abraded off? Even if there isn’t a coating, the surface finish is certainly being changed.
John Oliver is not as funny as he thinks he is
Not a chance in hell I’d be using an abrasive like Bar Keepers friend.
That 116 highway range isn’t even pure highway range. It’s “Riding Range Test Procedure for On-Highway Electric Motorcycles J2982" which is really 50% stop and go and 50% 70mph constant. So, you’d expect real world highway range to be shorter, and real world cold weather range even more so.
According to Google, large cruise ships generate about 3,000kg of CO2 per person for a 7 day voyage. A international flight seems to be roughly 150g/km.
To be a tiny bit fair (to all EVs and not just Tesla) how “range” is determined does not reflect a driving pattern/style that is typical of someone trying to actually cover that distance. “Range” should be an almost purely highway number, since, you know, when people want to go long distances they primarily take the…
Only on manual (non-STI/WRX) models.
I never claimed it wasn’t symmetrical. I’m simply pointing out that it’s not the same it used to be; and it’s primarily driven by the addition of CVT’s and their quest to improve fuel economy. Plus you are acting like there is only a single AWD system offered by Subaru, and that couldn’t be further from the truth.
They’ve fixed the head gasket issues, but it’s cost the AWD. Modern Subaru AWD (there’s multiple versions) is a joke compared to the versions offered yesteryear. They become more and more FWD biased, sending less and less power to the rear, and the nannies want to cut in more and more before actually letting you use…
