3.) Top Trim Pickup

8.) Porsche 911 Turbo

But the thing is that if you show up to work with that, people say "Wow, nice truck!" You show up to work with an equivalently priced BMW/Mercedes/Audi, people say "Wow, how in the hell can you afford that!?!"

Weird how VW ranks right on average with ConsumerReports.

Weird how Volkswagen is at the average of ConsumerReports reliability rankings. Audi ranks 5th (behind Lexus, Toyota, Mazda and Honda), Porsche ranks 9th, with Buick being the only other non-Japanese brand in the top 10.

Is math really that hard?

2001 wants its joke back.

Fiat Chrysler is now listed on the NYSE and has put out their first quarterly report since and it's... about what we'd expect. Overall, things are roughly the same as last year, which is bad. Things are looking up in the U.S. and Asia, which is good. Europe is still a shit-show but less of a shit-show.

1. Energy production is up while energy prices are lower for Americans, creating growth but also putting more money in the hands of consumers. Granted, energy producers will take a hi, but that's a longer term cost relative to the immediate bounce from cash.

That's my point. Why label it a Ram if the only thing they are going to change is the badges.

"How to get a family of spiders in your helmet."

Yeah, I know. If they put a little more effort into it they could have made a decent looking little ute/car/truck/thingy that would be useful. Hell, even attempt to fit a Dodge Dart front clip on the thing.

I had a shitty Saab 900 with roughly 130,000 miles on it. It had a salvage title and some minor (but growing) rust, ran well, was fairly dependable and was decently fun to drive. Figured I'd trade it in when I bought new. The offer? $200. Two-hundred-dollars. I know it wasn't worth $5,000 and they most likely

You're not going to tell us the offer!?!

I have a '73 Saab 96. I'm very familiar with driving an ugly car. The Ram 700 isn't one I would willingly buy.

I'd normally agree, but I'd have to drive this tool to work and around town daily. Nearly 26,000 miles a year... Yeah, I want it to look nice.

I like the idea of this truck very much. But the styling is a complete flop for me. Nothing about it says "Ram". It's like the Promaster. It's like they both started all the way in Europe at the Fiat HQ, and all they managed to pick up on their way to North/Central America is some Ram badging.

Built in snowboard / wakeboard gun rack.

And you didn't even touch the whole part about what the hell this has to do with a a car blog.

People never bat an eye if someone says they drive a big pick-up. But you drive a BMW? Boy, you must be rich. The heavy duty trucks are damn expensive and damn luxurious.
