That’s what I suspected too, but I didn’t want to explicitly say anything without confirmation

Wait, what’s the WW thing you’re talking about?  I used to follow the WW speedrunning scene pretty closely and I don’t remember anything of the sort.

You say “jokingly predicted”...but honestly, what else could it have possibly been? It’s THE signature Sephiroth move

Is this a common sentiment?  That it runs fine on PC?  No trying to be snarky or whatever, just genuinely curious

I really like the hunting side story in Yakuza 5!

I see that as more of a superficial difference and not a substantial difference in gameplay. In Theatrhythm you’re still incentivized to defeat enemies as quickly and efficiently as possible since you’ll get more experience. And certainly the battles are a very different game mechanic than the Field and Event modes.

I’ve sunk about 200 hours into FF Theatrhythm, and I completely fail to see how those battles are any different than the video at the top of this article.  Buy hey, this is not a hill I’m going to die on.

The Theatrhythm games (Final Fantasy and Dragon Quest) had similar battle mechanics!  Highly recommended if you like rhythm games and like the music from the franchises.

Different places have different costs of living. I live in a suburb of a major city (not on the coasts) and $51k before taxes is totally liveable. You wouldn’t be rich by any means but you’d be quite far from poverty.

For me, watching this depends entirely on whether I only need to watch the Re;surrection movie or if I also need to watch all the other movies.

One very small nitpick in an otherwise great article: the Sun is not our source of gravity.

Thanks!!

Is there an expectation of sorts that you do the Quests/Challenges alongside the main story missions?  I’ve played a number of Warriors games in the past, and I’ve pretty much only played the Story modes

Is anyone else SUPER HYPED about Great Ace Attorney finally getting localized??

Wow, I’m like the exact opposite--I love sequential collectibles!  If I miss one, I automatically have a rough idea where to look for it on a subsequent playthrough.  I feel it saves me time and frustration in the long run.

Hi Zack, I read a few other Valhalla reviews and a number of them mentioned that the game was buggy.  One reviewer wasn’t able to finish the game after putting in 60 hours because of the bugs.  Did you run into any issues at all?

WOW that “VS” in the opening image looks a lot like the logo for WoolieVersus.

My understanding is that Disney hyped up Halloween in Japan and then it spread to mainstream media/culture

Agreed!  She’s very nurturing.

Having played the game with Japanese audio I can’t comment on the English delivery of her lines, but the script is pretty faithful to her original characterization.  Aerith was always kind of quirky, kind of pushy, and somewhat flirty.  I feel like in subsequent media (Advent Children, Kingdom Hearts, etc) she became
