dude is the greatest and most useful word.

I do remember having grown up in Northern California in the mid-80s (born ‘73), “Dude” was a normal part of my lexicon. Whenever I’d meet non_CA people they’d often remark if I said dude. “Oh my god, did you just say dude?!?!”

I am ordained in the Church of Latter Day Dude. I have the certificate to prove it.

But what if you’re not into the whole brevity thing?
