Early 3D games didn't even look good back then. I remember how painful the transition to 3D was.

"When you start up a retro game on an old-school console, what you play will typically look antiquated"

"I do honestly hate the overly kind perception of PS4"

I found Battle Mode to be pretty forgettable in Mario Kart Wii, so I'm not really sure how much we're missing out on by having to ignore this mode entirely yet again.

I don't get why this was a thing in the first place.

I've had several games I've bought on Steam for a fraction of their full price 12 months after they come out and I still get the pre-order bonuses included.

This is why I usually wait for some of these to release GOTY editions.

I wouldn't mind the children thing if it wasnt for the fact that games then make them the insufferable little shits ever that can't be affected by anything. I dont really need to KILL the assholes, but at least give me some option to get their parents to smack the shit out of them later or something.

No doubt! The Mako was my saddest loss playing 2 and 3.

ANA has really good food for an airline, at least I thought so anyway.

JAL had some pretty good food. I'd eat it again.

I feel maybe the big MP shooters are starting to drain on me a bit..but I'll take a good single player story based shooter any fucking day.

Custom levels and game modes were also mods, once upon a time. Even as recent as UT2k4, which was modded into entirely new game modes a la Red Orchestra.

I wouldn't. The '00s sucked and the '90s were definitely more fun. And yes, I definitely remember almost all of both. =รพ

I was solely talking about gameplay, on consoles you play with controllers, very bad for fast paced FPS.

UT99 = good, because PC first.

ME TOOOOOO! I have so many memories with that game (except for the last one that sucked and was also on consoles). PC only is a fucking good sign, it means they won't sacrifice gameplay!

Free to play: Aw Fuck!

By the way, if you get your block problem figured out, I'm getting a small Minecraft "Realm" set up. It's purely vanilla survival. If you're interested, message me your Minecraft name and I'll send you an invite.

Well an argument could be made that fibre-optic cables are as important a piece of infrastructure as highways. I'd say it would be a logical step for the government to roll out a nationwide network of the stuff and then rent it out to ISPs in exchange for them agreeing to the upkeep and maintenance of the network.
