The companies already have strong incentive to avoid overproducing. It’s just super hard to get it correct. A government official who has zero skin in the game is much less likely to get the number correct.

Hah, in Skyrim I literally do the opposite. I know that if I progress the main story, dragon attacks become random events, so I did tons of side quests till I felt like powering through the main story.

The alternative is pricing in negative externalities. If you think communism would be any better, take a look at what happened to the environment in the soviet union!

So you think a government official would have known better and produced the correct number of Funko Pops to fill demand?

Beers with friends in three corner store followed by Bulgogi sounds so perfect!

Seems like stuff is even more busted for me on iOS now (both Safari and Brave). I still get logged out randomly between pages like before. Before though I would get logged in by clicking on the UI element that turns into my profile pic. I just went to the recent cyberpunk 2077 article via a notification and there in

Oh, when does that start? I am like 50 hours in and the last main story mission I did was about Hellman. Never noticed a timer and have mostly been doing side missions and exploring.

I’m also totally surprised by the negative feedback about the urgency of the story. It’s something every other RPG does. Meteor is coming, Reapers approaching, Wild Hunt is chasing the girl, blah blah blah! In comparison to other stories the chip thing feels harmless and obviously the supposed urgency won’t impact the

And DeSantis’ derangement isn't as disfunctional, making him more dangerous.

The real explanation I hear is “everyone does it, so I’m stupid and miss out if I don’t”. Low-trust society fostering a low-trust society and it's all kicked off my xenophobes who are constantly afraid of society, the government etc.

I always thought it was more upsetting that I can't get a burger in the morning

MoO2 is probably on many lists

The label makes even less sense with western studios trying to make JRPGs. One could see this as a nod to the inventors though. Not all Metroidvanias are Metroids or Castlevanias and it's nice in some way to credit the originals

Yeah, they started phasing out communism under Deng because it didn’t work.

I guess there are no legitimately interesting articles that could be written to drive traffic and even keep readers coming back...

The idea in general is kinda cool. The execution was terribly buggy though and it came at a totally inappropriate point in the story. Might have made a great optional mini game.

How many fewer people would have clicked this of the title would have been upfront and said “Dubai streaming service censors lesbian kiss scene”?. Well done on the click bait!

Or the opposite well happen. The word will only get used in more and more wrong ways, till we get a new word with the exact meaning till we ruin that word as well.

Oh interesting. They had me at “popcorn problems”.

I wonder if we'd see an amplified version of three problems we already have with very long copyright durations. The AIs would likely get trained on public domain content which means anything commercial that's not very old will be out. I'm sure the AIs will still generate pretty good images, but artists still get
