I’m on brave and still get the sticky, auto-playing videos. Wtf?!

It’s amazing to me that we actually used to pay that off you correct for inflation.

I actually don't understand how they came up with this. Haven't games had this price since SNES days?

I think it must have been some mod someone had installed or someone must have swapped out a sound file as this copy of CS made it’s round through our LAN party group.

de_jeepathon was hilarious when it first came out. It was released just before we had a LAN party and everyone was so excited. It’s amazing how much fun we got out of something that’s today so simple, like having cars in a multiplayer game.

Siege was such an odd map. I mainly remember it because of the BMT. Everyone was obsessed with that thing but I think we did worse whenever we got in it.

Even at the time I wondered how many people were into the pod racer because they had never played Wipeout. I now wonder if the game even would have been made of Wipeout didn’t exist and hadn’t been a huge success.

I was just playing Source with my wife today and for some reason remembered how in the early versions of the mod you had to buy ammo separately and know what ammo the gun took. I had no idea about guns and just randomly pick a ammo type and then and up with unusable ammo. Fortunately dropped guns also used to persist

Would any of this really be a problem if the gaming industry wouldn’t put undue value into these scores? As a consumer it’s easy to get meaning from this, since the string discrepancy between user score and metascore is a signal that something is going on and that one should find an article on what’s happening here.

So early 2022. Yay!

I didn’t like RDR2 very much. But I LOVED killing the KKK guys in it. I wish someone were to make a whole game around it.

Oh right. Somehow I’m always surprised when we reach this phase in the console lifecycle where the new console are on the horizon or already out and we still keep getting games for the console that were already old a few years before the replacement finally comes out.

Oh man that sucks. I've read Kotaku as my main gaming news since so many years. I guess it's about time to find an alternative. At least Steven and Fahey are still here.

Did you have the same experience with Bloodborne? I bought Dark Souls on PC and Switch and only ever make it to where you encounter the dragon and then slowly give up. Bloodborne I made it to the final fight, picked up the DLC and made it to the orphan. I'm now not beating the main game because I then can't go back to

I don’t understand why they seemingly kick off every new PS generations with Ratchet & Clank and Little Big Planet. Once the real games come out nobody likes back to that stuff.

Former prosecutor Paul Butler describes what the legal system does as a “choke hold”. While Mr. Floyd was literally in a choke hold, the legal system puts everyone in a metaphorical choke hold. When you are in a choke hold you are unable to comply to order the police is giving. You cannot breath, you lose control over

Yeah, I wonder if that had a significance in Japanese culture.

Nag, sourdough is the original people have been using since thousands of years. You can just make starter by mixing flour and water and feeding it every day. There is enough yeast on the flour and in your environment that within a few days it’ll be sourdough starter. I don’t know about gluten free, but apparently even

Just finished Outer Wilds yesterday. I’m torn between going back to Blood and Wine (I stopped in the middle of it because I had grown really tired of the Witcher after playing nothing else for months), starting Yakuza 4 Remastered, starting an arcane build in Bloodborne or finishing my first playthrough by finally

Have you looked into making your own sourdough starter from scratch? It’s really easy. I’ve also stumbled over some guides on raising purer, less sour yeast, but don’t recall details or have tried it, since I had yeast and really wanted sourdough.
