Somewhat with you up until your last line.  A real look into the employment figures in the US would give you an idea about the sort of jobs that exist, and why people are taking gig work to try to make ends meet or participate at all in the economy.

The ‘Gig Economy’ is a terrible economy. Even worse, it’s all about shifting wealth from the people who have the least (dashers, etc) and giving it over to people who have more than they need (venture capitalists, silicon valley ‘disruptors’ etc).

Crypto, like most all ‘Tech bro disruptive technologies’ is a criminal enterprise designed to skirt regulations to perpetrate scams that necessitated prior regulations.
