Because they were naive. They believed Judges/Lawyers would follow in the mold of the long legal tradition going back to, most especially, Blackstone. And accept that settled law is settled law (Stare decisis = already decided) and not overturn it without due and sufficient cause.

At the price, convenience, and ample real estate for graphics, these are the perfect domestic delivery vehicles. Pizza place, Florist, Auto parts, Logisitics Courier, etc. You don’t need it to go fast, you need it to get economically and reliably from point A to B. Maintenance on Electric (not Tesla) is cheaper.

I came to make a George Miller adjacent comment but you beat me to it.

I had considered grabbing Diablo IV during the Steam Thanksgiving Sale, then I saw just how much they were charging for everything and their stupid little gewgaws etc and I was like.. Nope.. Eff Blizzard.

I enjoy ship building, but the rest is boring. The quests are fairly shallow, and they’re clustred to just a few spaces, there is really no reason to ‘explore’ in the game, nothing to find but the same assets, and since you find them everywhere you go, you’re not even the first to ‘see’ the location.

Play stupid games, win stupid prizes.

I’ll have the give the sweepstakes rules a look over they will likely need to have an alternate entry method as there are still some folks who are not allowed to give blood for any number of reasons.

This is just another layer of the ‘Gig Economy’ and another demonstration as to why you should not participate _at all_ in it.
