I wouldn’t call her dull. She was thin because she was incredibly malnourished during WWII, and suffered a lot of health problems due to it. She did many tremendous things to assist the Dutch Resistence against the Nazis. She put herself in danger to distribute anti-Nazi pamphlets and she delivered messages for the

No raffle! Everyone who wants one, gets one. I’m pretty sure it’s in the Constitution somewhere.

I think after leaving office, he should embark on a tour across America doling out hugs to the public. Or just to me, I don’t care.

I WAS WAITING FOR THIS PICTURE AND IT WAS BETTER THAN I COULD HAVE EVER IMAGINED!!!

Seriously, we find ways around the constitution all the time! Why can’t this be one of those times :(

I bet Obama gives great hugs.

I am going to miss you Mr. President. You did good. Thank you. Now I am crying.

First of all there is no golden path for mothers at work. It’s not a rose garden.

The fun* part of the IRA is that a large part of its intentions were to move Native Americans off of land to create more plantations, so it not only proved a fatal expulsion of one minority population but allowed for the expansion of the enslavement of another. It gets you both coming and going!

What do you think the venn diagram of rabid Trump supporters and domestic abusers looks like?

Despite his comments about at least two of his daughters (Tiffany here, the comments about Ivanka saying “If she weren’t my daughter...”), I actually don’t think he wants to have sex with his own children. I think I’m doing ok! But thanks!

The article states that “Arizona, Arkansas, Ohio, Oklahoma, and Texas all have state laws requiring doctors to comply with the old, out-of-date dosage requirements.”

Do you know what would be awesome? If we completely divorced health care from the employer/employee relationship. We could have some sort of, I don’t know, single payer system or something.

because knocking people unconscious for no reason is dangerous

I gave up engineering for the same reason. The daily fight to counter microaggression was exhausting. And you won’t see people of most majorities ever acknowledge a situation that helps them and theirs. Women are usually the exception to this but not always.

It gets worse?

I used to work at an engineering firm and HOLY SHIT the things they would do and say to the women, especially the female engineers. It was a big reason why I didn't return to work after having my first child. I couldn't handle all the stresses of being a working mom AND fielding microagressions and hostility daily.
