In small doses, kids are generally ok. I know many people think that babies smell good, but not to me. They’re also often intent on self harm, and I just do not have time for that. Puppies, on the other hand, are adorable.

Even with perfect CGI, I’d argue that scene would have been stronger with just the behind the back shot.

I think they could have made Tarkin a more minor character than they did- that first scene was enough, and the rest of it just felt overworked.

I really wish they had taken a step back and realized the Tarkin CGI was terrible. If more of that had been axed (or if they had somehow convinced Tom Hiddleston to take on the role), a lot could be forgiven.
