After all the Fords got recalled and the Hyundai/Kias got stollen, options got slim on the back 5.

but is a Lexus with 188k miles really more reliable than a Jag with 100k miles?

Spelling verses wrong twice made me cringe a little when re-reading that OP. Especially since I went to Catholic schools.

I had a coworker with a super wealthy neighbor that would buy their neighbor’s houses if they wanted to move so they could then choose who lives on their little dead-end road. They were all older people who liked to have little parties on their porches, so the guy wanted to be sure any new buyers would be good with

Considering average divorce rates and how frequently parents will split once the kids age out, I think that is actually a fairly common thing now. The people who I know that have a parent with new spouse basically after they turned 18 refer to the new spouse by their first name. None use mom/dad, AFAIK. It is a mixed

This really is the best way to go about it. Way too many easy ways to scam a malicious QR code because they are so easy to create and stick in common places.

My sister managed at a Midwestern catering company and the HHR on snow tires was by far her favorite. Could fit a ton in there with the seats down while also having a good, smallish car for all her daily driving between events. Was very disappointed we couldn’t find another that was worth buying after a deer ended the

It actually is job security when TxDOT does these massive projects, so I’ve caught people off guard when I complain about our lack of transit spending versus highway spending. These urban highway expansions are a massive pain, which means big consulting dollars to try and put it all together.

26 lanes and it still gets gridlocked every day.

That’s a very reasonable thing to say. The Houston, Dallas-FWT, and San Antonio areas have had zero growth and absolutely no increase in people who walk/bike in those areas. Just them there Austinfornia hippies walking around.

You are correct that it should be extremely difficult for them to do. However, children are also the world’s experts at “how did you do that?!?!” for things.

If I were to list the top items inside of a car that someone would attempt to put in their mouth, a child chewing on their car seat cover is pretty high up there.

There’s one more really big part of that - even the most tough-on-crime minded people know that our justice system will chew anyone up, spit them out a totally different person, and that person will struggle to ever get accepted by society again (hyper-wealthy excluded). Then it becomes a justification that we’re

Brings up an extremely difficult question that I don’t think any parent could honestly answer without being in the situation: at what point do press charges against your own child and leave them to the justice system?

Sadly, these days if you as much as look at your child crossly they can call DFS(or whatever it’s called where you live) they can call the cops and have YOU arrested.

People also exchanged their teenage daughters for property for a bunch of history, so we can drop the idea that a 16 year old is an adult just because ‘history’. We have decades of proven knowledge about the lack of brain development in teens that we can use to go down the rabbit hole in a discussion about if children

So, is your concern that kids are tried as adults or that parents can be found culpable for their kid’s actions?

What is the erosion of liberty that you are concerned with?

That is something that annoys me in our VW, but I accept it because we got a pretty low-end trim. That really bothers me not being standard in an Audi.

The C8 still gets me every time I see one. It’s not my favorite Corvette, but probably one of my favorites on the road.
