One time at a Denny’s, this dude came in raging at a guy sitting alone because the guy sitting had sex with angry guy’s wife. Despite having the high ground, angry guy didn’t do well and sitting guy managed to pull him to the ground. Fortunately, sitting guy stayed surprisingly calm and just kind of pinned angry guy

I assume the road quality in SoCal is way better than the Upper Midwest, but driving comfort was a big downside to the Veloster when I owned it living in Chicago. The ride is quite stiff, so there were times it was rough going through Midwestern potholes, but if SoCal is not typically that bad, it was a lot of fun to

To be fair, they asked for something fun, reliable, & sporty, then immediately eliminated the cars most known for those qualities.

That is crazy expensive electricity. I thought mine was bad when it hit 14 cents/kWh...

I think that’s always been Kang’s problem. Conquering an infinite multiverse always seems to get really convoluted, as the writing can go in many directions. Doom is generally motivated by selfish advancement, but that can include doing good things if it means stopping a villain that could threaten him. Hopefully the

I appreciate your commitment to this. It’s like when I come across shorts with good scenes from movies I don’t plan on actually watching, but still enjoy. Keep it going.

There’s been a weird, growing market of watching celebrities box each other in an actual boxing ring. Even professional athletes from other sports have started doing it too. It’s quite strange, as they are all very bad at it, but more and more people keep watching, so I don’t think it will go away any time soon.

My first thought was college football coach, but that location looks weird for that kind of money. Even more shady, the H&L Motors referenced in the add doesn’t come up in a google search within the state of Alabama. With this coming in a bit low relative to similar things on Autotrader, now I just wonder if the add

Despite 70s & 80s rock having some of my favorite bands, KISS never really clicked with me outside of a few songs, and that was before I knew how much of an asshole Gene Simmons is. However, I saw them live at a festival ~10 years ago and they could still put on an awesome show. Easily the best of the entire weekend,

It will be much closer to the second one, especially since they won’t want to wreck these multi-million (billion?) dollar test vehicles. Now, if they are willing to really let loose and we can get some dangerous maneuvers at 100-200 MPH without the worry of human injury, that could be awesome. It could also be equally

I was just thinking that it was funny how the rim sizes used in the rap songs I grew up on are becoming the norm for soccer mom SUVs. I guess rap really did corrupt us, just not how I was told it would.

I expect to see them all over my suburb and scattered across the school pickup line within a year of release.

Depending on the child, they’ll laugh at you and then go jump in a campfire. That’s also why so many kids shoot themselves/each other with the guns their parents don’t lock up. There are truly no limits to the danger a child will get themselves in because their brain is literally not capable of understanding it.

There’s been a few times where my kids go running out after me when I head out for an errand. They know they’re not supposed to, but as the article notes, a 6-year-old has a limited understanding of what the SUV will do if it hits them. I’m used to always looking for them (and the many walkers in my neighborhood).

At this point, I think it would actually be more expensive to make a truck with all of those manual things, as they don’t include any of that in the build of anything else. It would be the equivalent of a small custom run, but using all of the cheapest stuff and then selling for the lowest cost, which makes no sense

The 1996 Saturn SC2. 1999 is when the 3-door model arrived, making a close second in the family, but the ‘96 is the last generation with pop up headlights, so that is the winner. A terrific slow car that is still fun to drive fast. Easy to work on, even for a total beginner. Panels that rebound to cover up youthful

At $50k+ this thing needs to be show room quality for me. As soon as I saw the seats it was clear he’s delusional about getting his money back. They also did the thing where they list 1000 other cars to get more hits, so automatic ND.

As someone who lived by Chicago and moved to the West Coast for a bit, it’s pretty shocking how much more everything ends up costing. A big reason for why we ended up moving again back to Middle America. Went back to Oregon to visit family and got reminded of the pain when we just picked up a handful of groceries for

There’s a recession happening?
