As a frequent renter, I definitely feel that gripe. I think I’ve just gotten so accustomed to figuring out the different set ups that I am used to each brand pretty quick. Part of why I hate Toyotas is that some use a stalk behind the wheel, but they are overall my least favorite brand for renting.

Exactly this. My company is subject to federal DOT testing rules, so basically everyone is subject to those rules, regardless of the state they live in. Executives should be subject to the same drug testing requirements (then they might change).

The list of the most stolen cars has pretty much always been about the same as the list of most sold cars. Car thieves don’t generally target nice cars much more than a Camry (per capita), they just target what is easy & available and there are a lot of Kias easily available.

Hard tea is pretty solid for camping, beaches, or anywhere else you don’t want to have glass. In my 20s is when I was willing/able to spend time pre-mixing my drinks of choice, but now that I can’t get trashed on a family trips, a 6 pack of hard tea is all I need for a long weekend over the summer.
