Absolutely that. It’s amazing that people can get into managerial positions and then I have to explain to them that my take home salary is nowhere near the rate they see and how much their own employees actually cost.

The DCU will be a mess of stuff just like that for probably the next 5 years as they try to “re-boot” everything, but using a bunch of the same actors.

That CEO conversation sounds like a good one to have, especially in the consulting/contracting world. Then I wouldn’t need to have it every time and engineer learns what the client gets charged versus what they get paid. A lot of employees don’t realize how much they cost, beyond simple salary.

That 2001 concept is looking more and more like a prediction of the future with each new model released, just needed more grill.

Committing a felony for a C class sounds both smart and dumb. It’s smart because despite being a Mercedes, a C class is probably one of the cheapest cars in a US Senator’s family, so nothing too flashy but still quite nice. It’s dumb because I would demand at least a Maybach for my felonies.

It is getting more common, but you’re excluding Ford, Chevy, Dodge, Jeep, Kia, Hyundai, & whoever else. It’s available from anyone, but it is not on every trim for everyone. My comment was just about expecting it when also asking for bare-bones.

I know Toyota & Subaru do. Most luxury models have it. It still varies a lot on my rentals who has it and most of those are 2020 or newer.

At least in the near term, I think the biggest issue AI will cause in all of this is through simply making too much noise. A new story every week of is it or is it fake to eventually just numb everyone to photo/video evidence. Republicans and cops have already been perfectly willing to lie about things caught on

On many brands, radar cruise isn’t a bare-bones option. It usually requires at least a mid-level trim or some type of tech package that adds a bunch of other stuff. A bit odd thinking that power windows are a luxury but the car driving itself in a straight line is bare-bones.

I went to Catholic school, so at least 1 useless class every year. That said, I do think music/arts are important to be available.

I doubt this is why they were negative, but while 13 years of experience is pretty good, its probably not what I’d look for if I’m trying to clear my legal issues while running for POTUS. That’s 25+ year territory for someone who’s sitting next to me in front of the judge.

The basic algebra is included for most people, but it’s generally not discussed as time value of money, APR, APY, etc. Emotions do certainly mess with people differently though, especially when it comes to cars.

It’s pretty wild how little of a high school education includes things like interest rates, premiums, deductibles, the many retirement funds, work place benefits, and the other various things that basically impacts every person every day.

There’s a ton of people who only did some college, leaving them a big debt burden and limited earning potential to deal with it. One of the big arguments for the $10k (or whatever flat rate) forgiveness is that it’s most beneficial to the biggest group that needs it. It’s barely a drop for the doctors/lawyers/PhDs/etc

I feel like prices are super volatile too. Brands changing price per box by a few dollars on a regular basis, so we often rotate which cereal is on hand.

The most common form I can think of are when rock bands make acoustic versions or live versions. They are usually a best-of style instead a straight remix though, so it’s still odd. Genuine remix collections are very common in rap, but typically involve other artists to do the remix, so maybe they’re giving that a try?

A summer cruise through NE is on my bucket list. I’ve done them in the upper Midwest & PNW, which are also terrific summer locations, but I know that I need to cruise the Syracuse to New Brunswick area some time.

That’s been fun with the people who moved to Texas, especially those from California. Not all warm weather is the same warm weather.

The header picture is the answer. It’s an awesome car and I’m not sure there is a car more American than the Viper. Our love of guns, oil, and obesity without healthcare are big spotlights for how much America just wants to have fun with no concern for how quickly it could kill us. The Viper is the car embodiment of jo
