Pretty much anyone in the consulting/contractor world understands this. Hourly is nice, in that it guarantees income for work, but rate based is where the big money is.

Since buying a BEV isn’t something I even need to be tempted by, it’s really easy for me to dismiss Tesla as a brand. However, I also don’t like their interiors for the price, so I was mostly assuming that the Polestar would have the best interior of the listed BEV options, but have not been in one.
I keep reading that and know it how these things should operate, yet we continue waiting for the floor to actually come out on all this. Manufacturers haven’t just been increasing prices, they’ve completely discontinued the cheaper cars. Pricing may hold steady, but the simple existence of new cars under ~$27k has…
Almost their whole list is just basic maintenance that exists on every car. However, the people I’ve met with parents who could gift them a new A4 don’t really care about savings on stuff like that. They may just be better off rolling through leases if they hate maintenance that much.
Just need to make it so the pedals fold away, include some more storage underneath, and add some cupholders to make this a solid stroller. Big wheel strollers are the best.
With how much manufacturers have been trying to abandon the sub $30k market in general, I’m not sure it is a realistic expectation for some wave of BEVs in that price bracket. The Bolt & Leaf have been there. The Ioniq, Kona, ID.4, & Niro have been very close when accounting for credits. It’s not a lot, but the sub…
We’ve moved on a bit from masks and hammers
Everyone wants to follow the John Deere/Apple model that says if you so much as open the wrong panel, the warranty is void and they are no longer liable for anything with the product.
Anything that helps me fix what was broken. One of the glorious things of the internet is that I can type in my car’s make, model, year, & part and will likely have a video of someone replacing it or doing it better than I otherwise would have thought. Odds are that someone has a video of your exact car for the…
Had it been in Florida, someone would have started trying to shoot through both cars.
Dock taxes for personal vessels of a certain size and type that are not flagged in America?
This one seems most interesting because many of Starbuck’s products are named after their actual ingredients. In your Vitamin Water reference, all of those drinks are in fact just water with vitamins, so that makes a difference. This seems like one of those cases where you wish it could be legally acceptable for a…
Giant lunchable was my first thought.
That must be the upcoming Corvette CUV I keep hearing about.
That’s HOA president’s wife.
WTF am I missing here?
I collected carts at a major hardware store in college. Despite being in a semi-large metro area, it wasn’t too uncommon for people to leave behind bottles full of piss or chew spit. Based on smell from the containers without lids, I’d actually rate chew spit as being worse. Looking back on it, I’m equal parts…
Lotus was the first one that came to mind. Whenever I see one or read about them, I just want to say “keep it up little guy!”
We get tons of anoles around our house and the occasional toad, garter snake, and rough earth snake (or maybe Texas brown snake?). The frequency of our backyard small reptile habitat seems to keep the kids happy and make it easy for us to not have to deal with indoor animal tanks.
I’ve been meaning to look into the (often online) idea I’ve seen about requiring cops to carry something similar to a doctor’s malpractice insurance.
