While technically correct, it is just barely worse than the others for driver specific scoring while being substantially better at passenger categories and the best overall rating.
that’s for the insurance fraud after you’re tired of living on a lake
Frozen Uncrustables are even more amazing. Especially if they get slightly warmed just enough so that the bread starts getting soft, but the inside remains frozen.
Pretty much the same by me. The Wendy’s by me never has a line, so that’s my go to if I need a fast food bite. I usually prefer them while I’m travelling for work too for the same reason. Not substantially different than the McDonalds, but almost always a really short line.
I’ve had the opposite experience. I have a Wendy’s & McDonalds next door that I drive by sometimes and the Wendy’s is my go to when I need a fast food bite. Not that they are measurably better than the McDs, but the McDs almost always has a line and the Wendy’s never has more than 1 car in wait, so it’s just a simple…
While their cars might be bad/vaporware/unknown, the Vingroup that owns them is a mega corporation. Kind of like if GE or Samsung made a car. Odds are it would be awful initially, just because creating an all-new car is incredibly difficult, but a car company with massive resources behind it and a billionaire seeking…
Does their contract allow them to just pick a strike/negotiation time? I thought the big ones like this were multi-year and it is really hard to do any major things, like a strike, until the deadline hits. So mostly luck of the current automotive economy?
Sometimes that flood hits very fast. When you get major storms that don’t flood on a weekly basis, you lose motivation to sit there watching your car and waiting to see if this is the once a decade+ storm. It can go from mild water in the street to several inches rushing down all at once. Generally speaking, stay out…
Been a while since I heard that, gave me a lot flashbacks to high school football. That was by far the OCs favorite adjective for us.
I’ve basically given up on the Kinja sites from mobile. They always seem to find new ways to make it truly unusable. The comment section is probably 80% of the reason I come to any of these sites and that has barely worked for months on mobile, so I basically lost any reason to return that way.
That would probably be a good marketing strategy for every union so more people start thinking about their total compensation package. I occasionally forget that most people aren’t like me and making large spreadsheets to breakdown all manner of income and costs.
One thing I’ve learned doing a ton of DIY work is that the most underappreciated part of the process is how much of a pain it is to haul off materials. My neighborhood does 2 “heavy trash” days a year where the residents can dispose of just about anything and I definitely take advantage of that. Otherwise, disposal…
The document everything cannot be understated either. The first thing HR will ask for are receipts of what happened. Much easier to hand over the documentation than trying to parse it together after the reporting.
I have multiple relatives with Huntington’s disease. They’re all still young & healthy currently, but it’s something we unfortunately have to start planning for very soon while they are still able to easily provide complete input. Definitely a weird feeling time when a group of 20 somethings know they have to make EOL…
don’t forget pages (like this) that have multiple adds with autoplay videos breaking up the blog after every 3 lines of text
All very good information to have for anyone to have for any current/future employment. My statement was more about how mad I would be if a company advertised something that appeared well above my current salary and then they pulled the rug during the interview/offer process that the take home salary is much lower.…
My kids absolutely love IHOP, so they go with either us or a grandparent a few times a year. Every time, regardless of the time of day, the restaurant is nearly dead and we wonder how they are still in business relative to the other well occupied restaurants around us. This makes more sense now.
Has the social definition of brunch changed? I thought it was just eating food between 9AM & noon where people can either eat traditional breakfast or lunch food during those inbetweener hours. Later than a traditional breakfast but earlier than a traditional lunch, making it a niche category. Anything before 9AM…
I owned one and very much enjoyed the boxy space it provided. The main issue I encountered while researching and back when I still followed the forums was the terrible 9 speed automatic, while people with manuals had made it quite long without any real issues.
