The best 4x4 Toyota you can afford and be set for life with how rare you’d use it. Would be a little concerned leaving any car sitting all winter though and how that will mess with the common wear parts every year.

Almost makes me want to pretend to be a die hard Trumper in my red district just so I can say I’ve changed my morals or some BS once in office. Could be difficult, as I lack the proven record of being a racist asshole that many of my local reps have. We may be witnessing a bunch of Rs start calling each other false

Technically speaking, a person can vote however they want, once in office. The purpose of the change is that leadership within the party won’t put that rep on any committees and no one will cosponsor their bills if they know they will routinely vote against the party. This gets especially petty on the state level and

I think it just feels kinda weird that a Jamie Lee Curtis horror movie and a complete unknown sci-fi look like they will be the most interesting things at the country’s biggest comic-con

That “upgrade” remark hits hard. I’ve been “upgraded” to some very well optioned Tacomas and Rubicons and now I would rather end up in a Spark. If I needed to get to an off-road project site, then those upgrades would be great, but the vast majority of my rentals are highway driving and just about any truck/Jeep is

How many of these are actually moving for those prices? Whenever I see discounts that high, it is for a car that doesn’t exist or some other bait & switch to get people in the door.

You can probably include the dub-step Electro and Green Goblin from Amazing Spiderman 2. Can probably call that movie the worst supervillain collection ever.

I was confused why they posted this after recently posting cars that have the biggest availability and decided by about the 2nd slide it has to be some exec demanding a slide show and this it was got shit out. I would define worst selling cars as those spending the most time on dealer lots, not a bunch of 6 figure

Pretty crazy how much can change in 10 years. That list is basically all trucks and CUVs now, but not even the good ones like the Element.

Do these laws do a good job as specifying what a “news organization” is? At least in America, I can 100% see someone like Fox just creating an “opinion based brand” that is not considered news, or something stupid like that, so they can both say whatever they want and they can get a monopoly circumventing these kinds

They do not. It’s the same rules as Instagram. It’s literally just a text version of Instagram, as you are required to create an Instagram account to even sign up. That 2nd part is also why it may never go live in the EU. I think that the new data privacy laws there require the services to be separate entities.

With every sale like this I’m growing more convinced that the used car market is just getting used for money laundering.

That’s kind of a key detail, since there is a huge difference between an Armada and Pathfinder. The Pathfinder is one of the smallest 3-row options available with numerous popular cars that are larger, while not much on the market is the same size as the Armada (yet).

I suppose we have the benefit of having enough work available that we can deny some client’s request if they’re too cheap. There are a few regions we barely work in because they (somehow) manage to function by basically using minimum wage labor with turnover rates that rival the restaurants I worked at in college. I

If she’s 84 now, that means this fucking idiot was ~26 when the Civil Rights Act was passed. What a garbage historian for thinking her life would be easier if she was Black during fucking segregation, let alone anything that has happened since the CRA.

That’s something I’ve noticed with my recent listening habits. I can listen to some hosts talk for ~30-45 minutes, but I start hitting a wall by then if it’s just them all the time. However, if they have a big rotation of guests, I’m more likely to tune in a regular basis because then I’m able to get more input

That was a growing issue that we’re slowly trying to transition out of. We have a number of 3-5 year contracts that were established pre-covid and then salaries all went up with no room to adjust the contracts. Fortunately, the executive response was to lower average profit margin requirements so we could continue

We’re definitely paying more across the board, but I can’t imagine taking on those salaries without the skills, especially with how standard it has become for people under 30 to share their salary. Maybe I’ll have to reach out to those people who left and are now in the management rolls and see if they’re still so

I’ll generally admit that it is mostly a personal thing. My siblings and I all had Saturn’s as early cars, a few friends had them, and one of those friend’s SC is where I learned to drive a manual. So from about jr high through late college, a Saturn car of some sort was a staple of my daily life. It’s also why I may
