Wealth distribution isn’t on a bell curve. Also, the presence of exponential increases in wealth distribution that show a very tiny number of people with massive wealth is quite literally the definition of extreme wealth disparity.

My initial assumption was that you can tell if something is nearby them based on their actions. So by tagging a pod you can tell if something may be influencing their movement.

Always fun to get reminded about wealth inequality. The neighborhood I live in should be considered middle class. It’s better, but not that far ahead of the broke ass neighborhood I grew up in. However, the median income in my zip code is in the upper 75% level for the state. It just gets forgotten because many of us

If some fleet VPs bonus depends on resale, then it could be worth quite a bit to them.

Dude just sounds like a serial killer.

I think the push open is the most common method now. Some cars still have the driver’s side latch, but the push is typical in my rentals. Subaru has a mini lock in theirs so that you can’t open it unless the doors are unlocked too.

I had mixed feelings about the movie. I really liked the general premise and how it progressed. I even liked the ending in the sense that it’s okay for horror movies to end on a bad note, no one has to win/survive for it to be good. However, I also very much agree with you and hate the way leaned so hard into

My work has me travel all over Texas. I’ve met people who are legitimately more concerned with a trans kid existing than losing power for a few days every year. There are many more who care way more about their property taxes being lower than having power every day of the year. We do have some pretty wild voting

It took way too long for me to find this in the comments. Pretty much everything Librarians is better than at least half that list.

Lazboys are also the best option when kids arrive. Every baby rocker/chair thing I’ve ever tried is utter garbage relative to an average Lazboy. Plus the fabric protector thing they do is 100% legit.

Sitting for extended periods of time generally just doesn’t work well for humans. On long drives and in regular offices, people routinely get up and walk around every few hours. That’s why so many offices have moved to standing desks. Simply standing for short periods of time does a lot more than almost any chair

I wonder if any of those people that Hertz got arrested are readers here...

I think that pretty accurately sums it all up. You’re also one of the only replies that liked the dealer, which certainly makes a world of different in any car buying process. There’s a VW/Subaru near me that we had 3 solid car buying experiences and at least the routine maintenance has been smooth, it’s been very

Fromwhat I've read, those V8 are supposed to be incredibly reliable. I'm pretty sure that's the main Infiniti I see, but they are also really hard to miss.

Has anyone who uses this site bought a new Infiniti? I see them pretty often and I’ve rented a few, but I can’t think of ever meeting a person who actually owned one. I feel like the buying experience would be closer to a Nissan than a BMW, but I’m not certain new Infiniti buyers actually exist and it’s all just a

With how far the NASCAR cars are from the named car, they could probably call it a Trailblazer and it wouldn’t matter.

They could have saved a lot of typing and just said “You should just be happy with being a mindless, disposable drone because they are (mostly) paying you to show up. Now shut up and work yourself to death for my 401k.

Holy shit! Young & inexperienced people are more difficult to work with than your peers!? The generation of people who have spent their entire lives interconnected on a global scale act differently than people whose social circle was isolated to the neighborhood they grew up in?! This is some groundbreaking research.

I’m surprised I didn’t see the GTI across more comments. It’s one the best cost/performance/packaging vehicles out there

Certainly one of the most underrated commuter cars. It’s always weird to think back on this era of Nissan and how much more I liked it than almost anything they have done since.
