Much the way people here have nostalgia for the little hatches & fast backs of old, I bet they’ll wish they had physical buttons. They may be used to it, but even my 9 year old prefers doing school stuff via laptop instead of tablet because the physical buttons are easier to use.

Hypothetically, I would have used the team of people around me for a coordinated breach, starting with a weapon that can subdue (gas, taser, mace) before entering the vehicle. I would like it even more if a hail of gunfire wasn’t the first go to by members of the local government.

I’m not sure if the others could successfully emulate that, since Disney’s big shows are based on well-established properties with an existing following. Their shows almost act as filler or minor character development between the billion-dollar movies, which can also be released on the platform between shows.

There was a cop literally in the car holding him before they started yelling gun. They were hands on with the guy and then backed away yelling gun so every cop could rain bullets into the car. There was zero attempt to subdue without bullets, despite being in the car and hands on.

The binge also puts people way behind, so it feels like you are either in or out on a show. Instead of having to catch up on a few weeks, it’s takes multiple days to catch up and a lot of people aren’t willing or able. 

Doesn’t Disney cap at like 6-8 episodes for each of those tentpole originals while Netflix (et all) puts out episode counts in the teens for their stuff?

In a family household, I’d argue they remain the best streamer. By far the biggest mixture of adult, teen, and young child content with the biggest variety choose from. Considering how young & small Rivian still is, even a small outfit like that would be a huge cost to them and likely be a loss. They’d have to partner with an camper company and basically sell them the R1T/R1S skateboards. Even then, last I read they were struggling to keep up with the demand of those models.
