Tesla is likely more shocked they have a store there than they are by this law.

They’d still have to pay for the inventory storage, freight, store shelf spots (which they could actually lose if the product doesn’t move), and all internal personnel costs in order to generate minimal revenue. Discounting a product will also diminish its overall value. Many businesses would rather scrap an item than

If my discount electric skills are reading that correctly, it sounds like they would use an ethernet cable that connected to a little junction box to run power/controls from the main computer to a small area to replace all the wires that would normally run to each component in said area? So instead of a traditional

It is my freedom to murder humans from the comfort of my 4000 pound steel box in publicly funded spaces, entirely because those public funds were used to make part of it flat and hard - murica

The giant blacked out grill can be acceptable with such a nice green though. We need more greens on cars.

Nice to see this garbage take get recycled. It would be incredibly stupid to stop reporting the things our literal LAW MAKERS are doing. This isn't some dumbass with a sign, this guy creates and votes on actual laws. Just because he's an idiot, doesn't mean he can't have a very tangible impact on millions of people.

Georgia smacks you with the missed taxes on your car when you try to register it the first time. That can get quite expensive for newcomers.

There were a lot of assumptions made, but even what I outlined would be pretty ideal for a person under 25 making less than $50k/year to keep the monthly payment under 10% of their take home pay. Lose ~20-25% in taxes & benefits. 5% interest would be very generous, but some places do offer nice new grad rates. ~1500$

According to car & driver, the X3M Comp did 0-60 in 3.3 seconds and the website zeroto60times has a 2020 X3M Comp at 3.6 seconds, much closer to the 720S’ listed 2.9 second 0-60. It’s also AWD vs RWD on what looks like gravel, so even at stock it should look like that

There are still people fighting 5G towers. My cell coverage sucks in some parts of my neighborhood and these people keep fighting the proposed 5G towers, it’s very annoying.

A zoomer making $25/hr with a consistent full time job will be capped at about $16k for a car on a 60 month/5% interest loan with $1500 down (assume they are getting cheapish health insurance/benefits and have low state income tax). It’s certainly possible to find reliable transportation for less than $16k, but it’s

It’s standard now in many sedans/CUVs. That’s one of the first things I try to turn off in every rental because they are all bad and annoying. At least in my VW, it keeps the AC on instead of using auto-stop most of the time.

The eco/normal/sport mode in most cars just modifies how sensitive the car reacts to the pedal, how high the RPMs go, and how much power it actually tries to use. I assume eco mode for a BEV slows down how quickly those electrons flow. I imagine sport mode has killed a number of econo boxes with how rough it shifts

While I generally agree with the premise that no car has been “dangerously slow” for quite a while, I don’t think that applies here. These cars became slower without the owners knowing it, which I would argue is a case of becoming dangerously slow if you suddenly realize while trying to merge that your car is not

Facts not found in evidence. The X5M is one the ugliest shaped vehicle ever. Everything about it is awful and they make me irrationally upset whenever I see them. My idea of living out The Purge is setting all of them on fire.

Won’t work if the car is on a street that’s full of street parking, a bridge, a road with no shoulder, an intersection, a bike lane where it probably just hits people, and likely many other situations. That’s (part of) why San Fran is getting mad at autonomous cars there right now. When they lose connection, they tend

Depends on the fleet. There are plenty of businesses willing to make their worker’s jobs more difficult because they saved a few bucks on the fleet deal.

Rates have to be the worst part about it. We got our Atlas in 2021 right before things really hit the fan (at least locally). We could still walk on a lot, pick the car we wanted, and got a near 2% rate. I don’t need a 3 row car, since we got the Atlas for those duties and my Renegade can hold all 3 minions in the

Unless you need something your car cannot offer on a regular basis, there is no financial reason to attempt a flip. Especially if that beater dies and you’re stuck with either another beater or fully forced into the current car market. I’ve been tempted a few times to sell my 2018 for same/higher price than I paid for
