I’m pretty sure he actively tries to be sure we don’t via his own Twitter account. Or he is just trying to move the Overton Window so people are less shocked when he does things that both shitty & illegal.

Those who I’ve talked to on the engineering side primarily see Tesla as a chance to make some money and get out. A pretty solid landing spot for a 20-something willing to do 60+ hour weeks for a few years, clear all their debts, and save up for a house payment before jumping to somewhere more sane.
This world of have 10 different SUV sizes is annoying. I just assumed the GX was a trim of some sort.
The current Envision and Enclave are both worlds more attractive than just about any other GM SUV. The Encore (aka Buick’s Trax) are definitely the ugly ones. While not always the most attractive in the car market, I’d say Buick has been the most attractive from GM for most of the last decade.
He complained it would not let him get close enough to cars without pressing the gas to override it.
So sex ed needs to improve because of information available via the internet.
Make the program as simple as possible.
In major metros that have real coffee shops everywhere, no. Starbucks is just the Target of coffee. In cities with less than ~500k people, it can be considered the high-brow go to, but still remains the Target of coffee (exception for the PNW, where it’s generally considered present).
Now that they are all-in on the multi-verse, Kang is a character they can re-introduce multiple times with different personalities, hoping that is equal to character development. I expect it will result in a mostly flat character that acts more like a MacGuffin than an actually developing character we can follow, like…
Pirates of the Carribean, obviously
Reverse - Carl Sagan’s work should be required reading in all schools.
Just put a playing card next to each tire.
I had a friend that got one of these newish around this timeline after they wrecked their G5. It was a pretty fun car to boogy around in, but still a comfy cruiser. Could definitely do a lot worse for a DD.
Are you sure that high prices aren’t the reason people are willing to invest in the restoration? That may be a bit of a chicken/egg situation. The post-1980 cars that are commanding high prices are because they weren’t touched. The factory original Japanese tuners are the hot commodity now. I guess if people start…
I drive a lot for work and I’ve been spotting some Starbucks at typical highway gas station spots with BEV chargers out front, and that’s in Texas & Oklahoma. I assume the west coast is ahead on that. Many gas stations are just a local small business that make almost all of their profit off the store, so they…
Years ago, Canada had a runaway weather balloon. They tried shooting holes into it so that it would come down slowly. Took like a week to descend and continued shifting with the winds. Physics gets funky with these elevations & the materials/equipment to operate that high (assume these extra sightings are also at like…
The road full of other drivers. Why do I even both paying taxes if I have to share all of these roads with other people?
I feel like people have spent the last 30 years hoping to get ahead of the next old car boom that will mimic how buyers treat 60s/70s stuff. There are a few that have broken the bank (mostly Japanese tuners), but it seems like there simply isn’t the volume for just about anything post malaise that can command pricing…
Reads the top vehicles *cries in American* *gets hit by a truck with a grill taller than most of those vehicles*
The USA can barely even define what should be called a “high speed” rail because anything faster 110 is considered high speed by our standards. Our trains are basically just for cargo, and a lot of people hell bent on keeping it that way.
