Honestly, the first place my brain when when I saw “striped shirts” was prison/concentration camp uniforms.

Is it just me or is that arena empty except for families and the women’s teams cheering on their country-mates?

Re number 1: Apparently he’s such a persona non grata that the only place that will allow him to practice medicine anymore is a borderline defunded military base in the ass end of Louisiana. He lost his previous practice, reputation, and ability to serve as an expert witness in malpractice cases (deservedly so).

This is going to be the answer to a Final Jeopardy question in next year’s Tournament of Champions.

My company still uses a 2010 Tacoma and 2009 Ford Ranger as field trucks. They’re *barely* useable. I agree the modern F150 is too big, but 10 year old compact trucks are too small.

Recurring Penn Jilette was my favorite guest star.

I’ve seen rumors that the Disney streaming service will be the family friendly stuff and the adult content (namely the Netflix shows, if they end up continuing) will be sent to Hulu (which also has Marvel content and Disney owns a stake of).

Also, most cooling racks are about the size of a half sheet pan, if you don’t want a roasting rack. (Working with a Pullman-sized kitchen here)

Correlation vs causation anyone? I never played video games growing up (built model rockets, read, and learned how to solder) and I ended up an engineer.

That poor kid who came up with the Devers home run though. Clearly an Astros fan and he knew the rule of thumb is to throw back opposing team home runs. But it’s also a home run ball from the ALCS so...conflict. I’m glad he kept it.

I saw this during the broadcast and assumed he is familiar with flag codes: “displaying a flag in this manner is “a signal of dire distress in instances of extreme danger to life or property”;

Would not be surprised if a third full rotation made an appearance before Tokyo.

Can we see her fool around with rings or the pommel horse at some point? Or would that be too humiliating for the entire sport of men’s gymnastics?

I’ve seen multiple reports that he had bi-polar depression and is currently unmedicated and in a manic episode.

In my head cannon, he played John Henry in “Tall Tales.”

This! Trails don’t magically remain clear by themselves. Someone has hauled a chainsaw/rake/axe/etc through every mile of trail in the park to keep them passable and maintained.

Update: made this over the weekend for a housewarming with a mix of honeycrisp and granny smith apples, also added some craisins for lolz. Was a huge hit. Ignore the comments in the recipe about adjusting the flour/liquid ratio to not make the batter pourable. The fact that it’s pourable is the best part.

How’s the cargo space? Can one fit a couple Ikea boxes without too much cursing?

Yeah, I think that’s the problem. Not that there’s leeway at all, but that different refs have different amounts of leeway they’re willing to give and *can* apply that differently depending on the players. To me, it’s on the governing bodies of tennis to cut down on that so that everyone knows where the lines are,
