To answer your question, the opposite of this:

Fair enough.

Almost there. Take the final leap and realize that the USTA/ITF/WTP/etc are the real problem for not enforcing a consistent rules culture from the beginning.

I bet you’re one of “those parents” at kids sports games too.

Took me a second. Well done.

One of my coworkers lives walking distance from the hospital was where she was going to give birth to her first. The doctor told her that if she felt like she could walk to the hospital, it was too soon to show up and she should stay home where she’d be comfortable as long as she could.

Add a slice of cheddar cheese and you have lunch

No. I use off the shelf nibs (Wing Sung 698 is a great pen) and they’ve been fantastic. You’re still pushing rather than pulling 90% of the time, but because you’re not putting any extra pressure on the pen (the weight of the pen itself is enough for it to write), my hand doesn’t cramp and the pen doesn’t dig into the

And frustrating as hell because only a few years ago, the Orioles were making a credible run at the post season also with a cast of “This guy?!” making up the starting rotation.

I’m gonna need a rush order on the edit of the photo above.

People are still just figuring this out? Anyone remember when Amazon yanked copies of 1984 from Kindles because of some copyright issue?

You would make all the money.

Would have to be next season. The “I” hurricane this year will be a male name. Though if Hurricane Ivanka destroyed Mar-a-Lago or the NJ resort, I’d be pretty stoked.

Anyone who’s been a ref/umpire can sympathize with a referee being berated and insulted for doing their job. I blame the ITF and the other various governing bodies for not laying down the law with the umpires a long time ago about enforcing a consistent set of rules for every player at every level of the game.

Adding on to this. Michelle says “waist belt” but that’s not what you want. You want a strap that will sit on the kid’s hip bones so the lower body rather than the back/shoulders takes the weight. A strap around the waist is just uncomfortable and makes it hard to breathe.

Dude certainly saves money like an insurance agent.

The governing bodies are at least 40% at fault here. If they enforced consistent standards of rule enforcement among all referees and players, the players and refs would know exactly where the lines are and we wouldn’t have all this naval gazing about who crossed which line and whether those lines are valid.

I like Dollarbird quite a lot for this reason. You can set recurring expenses (rent, utility/grocery estimates, etc) that show up every month, but you still have to manually acknowledge that the money was spent. And then you have to add the non-recurring expenses (eating out, clothes, etc) manually as you make them.

I think there’s one villain that everyone is leaving out: the ITF. They’re the ones who create rules with subjective interpretations and then don’t enforce consistency in those interpretations. Was Serena out of line with the verbal attacking of the ref? Yes. Was Ramos being a sexist POS? Probably. Could the ITF have

Wait, the Acadamy yanked the “popular” category? Thank GOD. But as I’ve said before, Black Panther deserves nominations for score, all the technical things, cinematography, script, director, supporting actor (Michael B Jordan for lyfe!), and all the set/costume/makeup design. If it doesn’t get 10+ nominations, we riot.
