I never got tired of Kratos per say, like as far as his abilities and powers, those are all still cool. What I got tired of was the hole he seemed to be stuck in where he was just trying to get revenge on the gods. The whole Greek setting, and definitely Kratos’ attitude of just constantly being pissed off, got old
